My sons put this together for me. They realized when they were almost done that the holes on one piece didnt line up a screw was in the wrong place on another. After contact I received 2 new pieces within a couple of days it was finished. Its gorgeous! Just what I wanted.
I looked a LONG time for a hall tree that was reasonably priced but didnt look cheap and this is it! Although you have to put this together once finished it does not look like a self assemble item it looks like a higher end piece of furniture. Its very sturdy and solid. (Sea grass baskets from Target fit perfectly.
Instructions were ok at best, but if youve assembled those kind of stuff before youll figure out a couple things that they dont list well.
Theres holes for every single dowel was to large. It wasnt even close to touch the sides when inserted. The dowels were also so low you got maybe an eighth of an inch sticking out the top.
To fix the dowel issue, I broke toothpicks off right at the height of tm each hole and was able to slide the dowel into the hole easily. (this told me someone used the wrong bit on making the holes).
Once that was used, the parts went together well and feels very sturdy.
It looks really nice and makes the entry cleaner with the coats and shoes being nearly stored
I was nervous about buying because a bulky piece of furniture in my entryway sounded terrible. Surprisingly this thing is gorgeous and just what we needed. HOWEVER, during the first step of installation one of the holes were too big for the screw. This small problem, I felt, ruined the integrity of the piece but nonetheless it is a GREAT hall tree and the instructions were simple and to the point.
This hall tree looks great. It is sturdy. Took 2 hrs to assemble. Adult coats fit well if hang by the coat hook instead of just the hood. Highly recommend.
The hang tree looks like a nice solid piece. Exactly as pictured. The cabinet below glides open really well for now, but I do have concerns. Not on any manufacturing fault, just the actual design of the cabinet might be susceptible to wearing out due to my kiddos. We havent attached it to the wall yet (we will), but it doesnt show any signs of wobbling. Looks good! It was delivered with a dent in the front of the bench (shipping issue) and BisonOffice customer support went above and beyond. They guided me through every step so we didnt have to take it all apart and exchange the piece. Ill have to touch it up, but Im pleased it.

Great mud room or entry piece - very sturdy!
Love it, perfect for an entry. A bit difficult to put together but my husband and I managed to get it done. He only needed my help with doors.
