This is a pretty great bedframe.
In my case, this platform is both low profile and sleek enough to maintain modern elements in my apartment. Allow me to explain, I currently live in a studio apartment where I still host guests quite often. The sad fact of my life right now is that dinner guests are always in eyeshot of my bed. However, this bedframe is very sleek and doesnt draw attention to itself. Its always an odd situation, but guests pretty regularly compliment it.
The frame comes with grip tape to keep your mattress from sliding around. It is light and very easy to assemble. Ive become an assembly pro lately, but still, it took less than 15 minutes. Obviously all hardware is included, but it also comes with an Allen key, for those who dont keep basic tools around the house.
The only drawback is that the middle legs sit further in than the corner legs. You dont see them tucked back and I have personally stubbed my toes tens of times on this frame.
They dont seem to be carrying much of the load, so you may get away with omitting their installation, but Im not a bed engineer.
This bed came on time and exactly as pictured. The frame is a bit tall for a platform bed though, my mattress is a 12 inch memory foam and it makes for a pretty high bed. Definitely too high for my night stands but might be better for those with thinner mattress.
I love the ease of putting this bed frame together. My daughter is now sharing her room with my friends son and we needed to get 2 twin beds. I ordered this bedframe on my friends recommendation and I am very pleased with my purchase.
Easy to assemble with instructions. Sturdy. One scratch in headboard I didnt know when assembling. Looks like done even before Wood was stained. Would be too much work to disassemble and as for replacement part. Due to that I didnt give a 5, As I feel it shouldnt have passed the final inspection.
Bed is super sturdy and well made.It could not be easier to assemble.Im not usually a review writer,but felt the need to let people know how pleased I am with not just the product,but .Little things, like a well made ratchet for assembly make a big difference.Also the styrofoam inside the box used for shipping is in plastic bags!None of that annoying little static clingy styrofoam pellets sticking to everything and making a mess.I wish I were this happy with everything I purchase
This is a sturdy bed and the assembly is really easy. You just match numbers, no guessing around and no nasty little screws. With a power tool to turn a wrench, I assembled it within 2 hours. The wood is not varnished (or may be very slightly), it has a rustic look, but great value for the price. One caution- when I opened the box of legs with a box cutter, it scratched one leg slightly as it was not well protected next to the cardboard. Fortunately it wasnt very visible after the assembly.
I absolutely love the look of our bed frame! Its very sturdy and was extremely simple to put together, my fiancé did it by himself in 30 minutes. Great quality for a great price!
I was almost done putting the bed together when I discovered that two of the (most important) holes in the bed were drilled incorrectly - they should have been at 90 degrees, but it seems whatever tool they used at the factory wasnt aligned - I was utterly unable to finish assembly due to factory defect. In the end, I grabbed my drill and fixed the holes myself - but this meant a hardware store run at 8:00 at night instead of finishing up. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. A number of the screws threads were messed up as well right out of the packaging - fortunately they include some extras - but it speaks of how low-quality the hardware is.
