This was so easy to put together and its very comfortable. You wont need a box springs with this frame and the bed is still pretty comfortable.We used it in our guest room and when my mother/in/law stayed with us, she said it was quite comfortable and the headboard was just tall enough for resting against without being obtrusive.
This frame and board is awesome, the quality is out of this world. You know the saying you get what you pay for well if thats the case someone is being robbed. In all seriousness your price point is perfect for what Im getting.
I was a bit hesitant about getting this/I wasnt sure if an entire king sized bedframe could really be contained in the headboard and at such an affordable price. Well I am happy to report that I shouldnt have been so skeptical! This bedframe is really great! It was way heavier than I anticipated. Im a relatively strong lady but there was no way I could get it upstairs by myself in one piece. It is heavy and unwieldy to carry solo. However I was able to unzip the back and take out the parts/pieces and take them upstairs a few at a time. Once I had it all up there it was really easy to assemble. I had the entire thing done in about 30 minutes. It was absurdly simple. The bedframe comes with everything you need/most of the screws are already in place (and you just tighten them) and an allen wrench. It is really a very beautiful piece. When I first used it I still had my box springs but it only made about 10 inches of the headboard visible. I was a bit worried to take out my box springs but it has been awhile now and I havent noticed any difference in my quality of sleep or how my mattress feels. Given the nature of the bed slats you really dont need to use a box spring. Now you can actually see the headboard. I would definitely recommend this!
Really impressed with this bed. Setup for our 6 year daughter as she has graduated from an Ikea bed. The package that showed up seemed small and I was confused at first. But this was due to the brilliant idea to expertly pack most of the parts into the back of the head board. After unpacking everything all that was needed for setup was the included allen wrench and 3 screws. Instructions were good (for once) and the parts are sturdy and well constructed. Was finished putting it together in around 30 minutes and Im not very handy at all. We already had a nice queen mattress to put on this and my daughter loves it. This is a great product for the price and you wont be sorry to get it.
Foremost, the primary reason I purchased this bed was my need for less than a 3 gap in the slats due to warranty restrictions on a newly purchased Purple mattress. This was the only one I found that clearly labeled it as such that wasnt swamped with reviews saying it was bologna. This was a win win situation for me. The slats come bundled together with Velcro straps on each of them so you dont even have to give it a best guess on where each one goes. They just roll into place perfectly spaced. The bed took no time at all to put together and seems to be very sturdy. All of this and the bed looks fantastic at that. Very cozy, no squeaks or noises when youre moving around (if you catch my drift), the material is quite soft and easy to clean. 10/10
I was so excited to have an opportunity to review this for free. We left a difficult situation this year, and Ive put together four different beds for my kids in the past year. Wasnt funds for a new bed for me, but thankfully for this, I now have one. Im going to compare this to the four other beds I put together this year: two were metal twin beds, one was a canopy bed, and one was a queen sized metal bed. This was the easiest by far. Really well designed. It took me about 1/1/2 hours doing it myself. First off, everything comes inside of a zipper pouch within the headboard. Strange, but cool. All the tools you need are provided, plus lots of extra screws just in case. You start by unfolding the two metal support pieces, which go in a t/formation. Then you loosen the bolts on the headboard and footboard and attach one of the metal rods that goes straight down the middle of the bed. Add in the upholstered side pieces (two per side)...same technique of loosening screws and tightening with the enclosed allen wrench. Finally, you unroll the two sets of wooden slats. What I loved about this bed was that the wooden slats are held together by the fuzzy part of velcro, and the bed itself has the sticky part of the velcro. This means, you dont always have to rearrange the slats like on previous platform beds Ive owned, they stay in place. Only negative was that its kind of tight doing the screws on the headboard and footboard near the sides...would have liked a shorter wrench. Just finger tighten as much as possible to make it easier. Still, great bed...looks wonderful (fabric is luxurious)....and easy to put together.
Beautiful bed!! The quality of the headboard and construction is wonderful and the way that all of the parts are hidden in the headboard is SO cool. It perfectly fits a queen sized mattress. The bed looks much more expensive than it is and is the perfect color and setup for a sophisticated, fun bedroom. The construction is very sturdy and the bed was easy to put together.
I loved my Ikea MALM bed frame before I got this, but I am totally in love with this! It was easier to put together than my Ikea bed frame. I really like the soft backing with inset buttons, its much comfier to prop pillows up to read or watch TV. The back even has a hidden compartment where most of the parts are. Since it is cloth, I try to be careful not to let greasy fingers or hair touch the cloth backing.
This bed is great! We were looking for an inexpensive option for our rental house, but we didnt want to compromise on quality. As previous reviews have mentioned, the headboard appears to be *really* heavy because all the slats are stored within the headboard. Once you take out all the pieces, its quite manageable and we had no problem getting it up a flight of stairs to our bedroom.
The bed was really easy to put together / my husband was done in an hour. Our king/size mattress sits perfectly flush on the slats / no overlap! It makes our bedroom look finished and sophisticated for a really great price. Id absolutely recommend this as a great buy.
