I had been searching for a bed frame for ages, but was worried about finding something online and within my budget that wouldnt turn out to be a flimsy piece of crap. I settled on this one because I needed slats for my foam mattress and I needed the extra under/bed clearance for storage. Im extremely happy with this bed! This might be the most satisfied Ive ever been with an online purchase. Assembly was so straighforward and easy that the instructions were almost completely unnecessary. Honestly rhe hardest part was getting the 74/lb box up the stairs by myself, but after that the assembly was a breeze! I am very impressed with how solid and sturdy it is. The frame doesnt shift or creak at all when getting on and off the bed, and it supports my foam mattress perfectly. My old frame had cracked and it was ma the bed sag a little, ma my back hurt, but switching to this frame solved that right away! I had been thin the high profile might be overkill, but I wanted to be absolutely certain my under/bed storage drawers would have enough clearance. Turns out I actually really like the look of the high profile as well, so that was a plus.
Anyway, Ive had the bed for a couple of weeks now and had no problems at all; still feels just as sturdy as ever. I highly, highly recommend this frame if you are just loo for a functional, simple, nice loo frame, and especially if you have a foam mattress.
Excellent quality and easy to put together. I ended up getting a birch plywood cut to size to put on top of the slats because I have a Tempurpedic mattress. Thus far, this platform bed has performed exactly as I would have expected based on previous reviews. Outstanding! No noise, no crea (which is why I bought this bed MattressFirm sold sub standard box springs when I first bought the mattress and they have been ma noise for yearscommenting on every single turn that I finally got sick of it!). Ill update if complaints arise, but I would recommend this bed anytime. The packaging was superior (including the plastic/wrapped styrofoam) and it was really easy to carry the piece upstairs and put them together. Id like to remark on the excellent instructions as well. Everything you need is in the box and they included extra screws just in case. Happiest I have been as a customer in some time now!! Plus, who needs a headboard anyhow.
This platform bed was well packaged in double cardboard box with foam padding. The parts were well organized and labeled for easy assembly. An allen wrench was provided and is the only tool needed for assembly. I bought the size frame and it took about an hour to assemble, but I took my time. The finish appears good and so far it seems sturdy. No squea was observed. We like the design and it gives good support for the memory foam mattress we purchased. Very happy with this purchase.
Beautiful wood and so easy to assemble! Im not very handy and I was able to build this by myself in less than an hour. I was skeptical but I really love this bed. So happy with my purchase.
