Its really nice material allegent and sturdy will see with time if it lastes Ill update later on keep you guys updated on it. It took 4 days to arrive from California to oregon. Package was awsome really organized and protected no damage material. Yess really heavy youll need 2 peoples help. My husband and i set it up in 30mins no struggles easy to build. The ONLY down part i didnt like it has a funky smell like chemicals but will see if it goes away in a few days. Its strong smell. And wish the headboard was taller Ill have to buy a 10 foam mattress so i can show off my beautiful headboard. But for the price its decent and really beautiful platform bed.
Easy to put together. Easy to take apart. Doesnt break when you take it apart and put it back together a few times. The only issue is that when you do so, a drill has a hard time getting into some of the inner screws but this is a nitpick as far as Im concerned. The look feel is neat, the base has velcro for the wooden planks, materials feel nice and dont tend to collect too much dust, the shipment itself cleverly hides the components in the headboard.
All in all / exceptional.
The headboard is maybe a little shorter than I expected though not drastically. I have an 11 mattress and I think anything thinker than that and you might want a taller headboard. More importantly though, it was easy and intuitive to put together. Had a great first night of sleep with no crea. Looks great and feels solid. I wouldnt hesitate if you like the style.
I just finished putting it together and so far it looks great! When I first opened the box I almost lost my sh** because I thought I had just spent almost 300 on a 130 lb headboard! The packaging of the materials into the back of the headboard was such a smart idea (Ive never seen it done before)! I was also extreemly relived to see that i did not need any extra tools to put this together, everything I needed came with. The only thing im not too thrilled about is that it has an odd smell to it but Im hoping this will soon go away.
