I absolutely love this tv stand. It holds all my records and record player and I have my tv mounted above so it really stands out! it was very easy to put together and maybe only took my bf and I 1 hour. It is pretty heavy so if you have a walk up, I would have someone help you lift it but once it installed and put together it is a very nice quality product that can hold a lot of weight! I would definitely buy this product again
I love the detail in the grain. It was relatively easy to assemble and is surprisingly heavey and sturdy. One thing I noticed though: there is a fifth leg in contact with the floor in the middle of the stand. I put this piece on carpet and after a month, a slight bow developed in the middle of the stand. I put a couple cardboard slats under this leg and it straightened back out. Just keep in mind you might get slight bowing if you put this on carpet. I dont imagine hard flooring would cause any problems though.
The instructions didnt match the parts. Holes were in different spots and dowels had to be removed so the wood parts would fit together. It took two of us three hours to assemble. But it looked very nice when we finished.
I am 29 weeks pregnant, and put this together by myself. I really love the white wood grain color, and the size is wonderful. We ordered this to accommodate a future TV upgrade, and because it has enough shelves for all of our gaming systems and our dedicated home media server. Im really impressed with how sturdy it is all put together, and it looks so good in our living room. All of the holes were aligned correctly and predrilled deep enough. It went together pretty seamlessly. The ONLY thing I struggled with was the 4 hex/head screws and the allen wrench provided. The hexagonal hole in the heads isnt very deep, and the allen wrench isnt very bigthose 4 screws took me the most time. I also have fibromyalgia and it killed my hands. If the handle on the wrench were a bit bigger to actually get a grip for torque, and if the hex/heads were just a bit deeper so the wrench didnt keep popping outI wouldnt have a single complaint! This replaced a Better Homes Gardens TV hutch that originally cost a lot more than thisand this is by far much sturdier.
