I used to have a trundle style bed growing up and was excited to re approach this bed design years later but with a modern update. I was happy to see the company present an affordable option that was easy and kind of fun to put together. The picture i have included shows the bed with out the bottom area so you can see the overall design better, The bottom part is just a replica of the main design in the photo. Each of the areas can hold a standard twin mattress. I suggest using a different kind of mattress such as a futon type which is what i used, top add to the unique look that deviates away from a standard bed.
The bottom area is good for stretching out on while leaning back against the top part which then acts as natural back support.
When you first unpack the bed it seems like it will be hard to put together. This is not true it looks like there are a lot of pieces just because you have to attach all of the bars that go across the middle of both bedding areas and this requires over 20 of them. I did not have trouble setting it up by myself but i recommend having one other person help you for the first two steps. The bottom bed rolls out on four wheels while that main bed stays planted to the ground with additional rubber attachments to help keep it from sliding. This bed is sturdy and i did not have to use any of the backup hardware or clips. In relation to the extra hardware // this company gives you plenty extra in case you need it .
I am totally satisfied with this bed and highly recommend it.
Ordered this for my teen daughters bedroom and the color and style are great. But know that the price is based on the ability that it comes in a ton of pieces and is NOT easy to assemble. Overall, Im happy with the outcome, but had to call in outside help to put it together.
I realize this is a lower price product but the middle bar under the mattress bent immediately the first night it was set up. I love the look of it and wanted the bed specifically for the style, or I would have paid more but now it creaks and bends in the middle. Which, I read so many reviews to make sure this metal frame didnt creak because Ive had problems with metal frames in the past. Im sure it only creaks because its bent. I will be ordering new parts from the manufacturer to fix it but Im severely disappointed in my brand new bed.
Note: we arent big people. We didnt jump on it. Our mattress is average. Our kids havent touched it. Just seems weird that it bent on the very first time after laying on it.
This is a great bed a day bed to be exact. The arms move to make this a simple piece of furniture when not needed as a bed. The material it is made of is solid and durable and shows no sign of strain when heavy weight is placed on it. The finish of the metal is beautiful as the total look is aesthetically pleasing.
The Pros:
/put together really quick, even with an 8 year old helping
/all tools are provided and easy to work
/all the parts were present
/bed is AWESOME all assembled! The kids are thrilled its it.
Cons:
/a few of the support bars had some quality problems that made proper installation impossible. I was still able to make it work, but a few bars are less secure than the rest
These problems were frustrating, but the bed is functional and looks great assembled. With the quality issues, I struggle to say its a great buy, but I would purchase it again.
The bed is overall good and pretty sturdy, but its a lot of work to put together, especially the really right slats that support the mattress. They can be extremely tight and difficult to get fastened. Also, the frame is very tight in the mattress, so its helpful to know that before you buy a fluffy comforter or bedding, its tight. Unless you set the frame at its highest setting and can drape the heavy bedding over, its a struggle to stuff it down into the footboard.
This bed is sturdy, beautiful, and does not squeak. For the Trundle I purchased a 6 mattress which is perfect for the roll movementanything higher will not allow the smoothness of the roller movement. I GOT what I paid for! The gentleman who assembled my bed because the assembly is time consuming with lots of partsI got to tell ya he did a heck of a JOB!!
I ordered this bed for the kids room. With the help of a 12 and 10 year old, we put it together in under 30 minutes. That includes taking breaks and no need to undo any parts that were assembled incorrectly. There is no way to put this bed together wrong because all the parts are labeled and its obvious what to do. The instructions are easy to follow too. It was great having the kids because they did the work thats hard for old people. They put the slats and clips on.
Once assembled, we put the mattress on and the 12 year old immediately tested it and POP. Something snapped. One of the clips broke. I told both kids to bounce around on the bed so that we could replace any other clips that were going to break. A total of three broke and we replaced them. They bounced around more but no more problems.
When the kids return, we will put the trundle together.
The kids are very happy with this bed and so am I.

Good
Love it!! Not worth the price but I love it!!
Does not fit together perfectly.
Frame does not fit together as intended. Figuring out a make shift solution.
Great looking bed frame but hard to assemble.
