I dont consider myself a very handy person, but was able to easily follow the instructions to assemble the desk. Its a beautiful wood/top and great value for the cost.
Bought this desk as a gift. My daughter picked it out for herself, she has been using it for the second week now and is pleased. Took my husband a few hours to put together. Nice that our daughter has an option to sit or stand at her desk. Great price.
This desk is not made to be mobile. As soon as I assembled and stood upright nearly three of the screws popped out striping the inserts! Made of a finer composite wood though it looks sleek, very soft and chips easily. I would only ever recommend this desk if you are living or working in a place for the foreseeable future. I tend to move apartments frequently and this desk unfortunately wont be able to make this trek with me. Not worth the money.
I purchased the smaller desk. If you have the space, go a larger. That said, this desk is awesome. It looks great and most importantly it works. I raise and lower it constantly and no issues. It is sturdy and solid. I was able to assemble it alone in about 45 minutes. The middle seam is a bit unsightly, but a proper computer/mouse pad will remedy that. If youre on the fence, pull the trigger. Its worth it.
I am totally inept at assembling things and I managed to put this together. Everything was well packaged and arrived undamaged. The instructions were simple (all I needed was a drill and the wrenches and parts provided). Be sure to read the instructions completely, including the last page which talks about how to operate first use. I did a lot of research and this desk is a great value for the features. Most electric standing desks are 600+.
I got this as a gift for my husband. He is WFM. His lower back has started to hurt so badly he now goes to a chiropractor with me.
This has helped him very much. I will get one soon.
