Bed IS beautiful once we spent another 45 on hardware to put it together added a star at least for that, is shorter than I thought but thats my bad for not checking size, hopefully wont hit my head
Like the title says, just received frame without hardware. Called customer service for maker of bed and hardware is on backorder for two weeks but then theyll ship it
Well made just what I was looking for! I bought one for my daughter despite some of the horrible things people had said, and I actually LOVE IT so much I bought another one for myself. Very sturdy when put together correctly, simply put, its easiest with power tools, but someone with strong hands would have no issues. I am not a small person, so my first thought upon testing out my daughters is, where on earth are you going to find a better bed frame for that great of price, that is this solid? I am happy with my purchase of this and the only thing I can say is that for some reason (most likely a defect in the placement) the left side on the top seems that you just cannot get either of the bolts to go all the way in the holes. This in no way affects the solidity and durability of the product, and is not visible unless pointed out, so I would just recommend having the machine making these holes to be recalibrated. ALSO, its best to get some tab top curtains or such that would be affixed with snaps or velcro, because once you put them on and put this together, you cannot get them off again.
This item was correct. Looks great all put together, the assembly was kind of a pain a couple of the screws stripped but in the end it was worth it. Very pleased with this purchase.
We are very happy with this purchase. Easy to assemble. We have an adjustable bed so we simply left the middle parts off and it fits around our queen mattress perfectly. We had to use risers so the adjustable bed base doesnt hit the frame base. The bed adjusts perfectly and we love the ambiance.
Its as sturdy as you would expect. The canopy does not support weight. I hung my suit on the crossbar to steam it and it bowed in a little. I wouldnt recommend this if you need it to support more than that.
You will definitely need 2 people to put this frame together, but it is fairly easy to assemble and incredibly sturdy! Just make sure youre paying CLOSE attention to the direction of the pieces when youre putting it together or youll have to redo parts later.
Good bed for a good price. Takes a minute to setup but well worth it. I give 4 stars only because the knobs at the top of each pole for the canopy are not tight screw insDefinitely going to need some sort of filler down the road.
Overall, I like the frame. A couple of things I have noticed after owning it for about a year.sometimes you have to tighten the bolts or it will squeak. Sometimes you have to reposition the footboard, it will get slightly askew. The main annoyance I have is that there is a gap between the head and the first rail and the foot and the first rail. Especially at the foot of the bed, your mattress will slide down because the support is not there. Its good enough.
