Just as advertised. It is sturdy and comfortable and provides ample seating. It's not the sort of chair you want to spend two hours lounging in, but no one should be sitting around for that long anyway.
For the price this is actually a great chair.
It is not as comfortable as chairs in the 2-3 times its price, thats really the only caveat.
It is slightly short on the back rest and foot rest, if you are over 5'10 you might want to reconsider.
I first saw this on Wayfare and admired it. I checked and it was $40 less and available in the beige oatmeal fabric. It arrives very securely boxed. The box easily fits through our apartment door opening. Assembly took me 30 minutes tops - my two pups were supervising and added extra time. Solid wood legs screw on. The floor protectors are plastic and slide easily on hardwoods. I need to change these out. The chair base is extremely solid. The back and arms are well constructed and slide and lock into place with a firm push. Once on properly, these will not move or wiggle at all. You would never know that the back or arm sections were installed. Heavy duty but comfortable fabric and the seating foam/springs are firm but also comfortable. I'll Scotchguard it due to the light color. I love it and highly recommend it. Value and Quality!
Comfortable and stylish. My friends look at all of my Christopher Knight furniture and wonder if it’s functional. It is. It isn’t LAZ Boy but it’s comfy. The chair appears to be an armchair but reclines and adds novelty to my apartment living room space. I am obsessed, and to anyone looking to elevate their common space with a subtle yet aesthetically pleasing piece, purchase!
It was very easy to put together! Took two minutes! If your looking for a huge cozy chair to pop into, this isn’t it. That said, it’s exactly what I wanted - I place to sit and recline. It’s not for berry heavy people. I am 5’9 and wouldn’t say my head hits the back when reclined, but I scootch down some and it’s ok. It’s very firm but I know it’ll wear in. It looks incredibly well made and you can’t beat that price. I am very happy with it.
Great looking chair but it is quickly uncomfortable. Footrest is too short I'm 5'4 and my feet hang off the edge when reclined. Material wears quickly and the cushion loses it's thickness after only 6 months. Not worth the money unless you don't plan on sitting in it!
