With two people working on it, it was fairly easy to assemble. Just follow the instructions and plan to put it together with a friend (it would be a bit hard to do alone). This is definitely not a forever bed frame, but great for a student/starter apartment.
The bed look exactly like the picture, easy assembly, Sturdy. However, the only issue I had was with Delivery. My delivery date changed 3 times, and we paid for shipping. Other than that everything was great!

It did seem a bit odd that the central support isnt directly connected to the frame but to the slats, but it was still quite solid.
Watch your toes on the additional posts at the middle of the sides!
