Great long vertical bars cant be climbed up, and close enough together that small pets cant escape (or get stuck, happened to my chinchilla once in a cage with 1 inch spacing, very stressful). Nice amount of space, folds down small, lightweight (larger pets might move the cage around).
I use this inside the house to keep our dog in our family room. I also use one at work in my office to keep my Yorkie in my office. Folds compact and out of the way.
I got this for a play area for my chinchilla when I would take him out of his cage, I cant let him run around the house bc I have cats and he would get his little poops everywhere anyway. I leave it open on one side up against the wall where I sit and it leaves him plenty of room to bounce around and interact with me at the same time. Its still short enough that my cats can jump over it so I cant leave him unattended but I think even if it was taller they would find a way.

My wife and I ordered this as well as the FC-261 Small-Animal Play Pen Mat/Cover. This pen was bigger than the mat. Fortunately, we could remove three of the panels and it fit the mat perfectly. Room for growth, hazaa!
I like having this downstairs so our Ferrets can run around, and not have to be caged up all the time. I really want to buy another one and link them together so there is even more room for them. I just wish there was a way for them to have the mat/cover large enough to accommodate that. Oh well.
I bought this for my girls to have supervised floor time in. They love running around in it and I like that I can attach their water bottle in case they get thirsty.
This is a great pen, but my kittens escaped!
I am using the pen for foster kittens, and my very first pair of kittens (1.75 lbs) escaped after a few days! There was nothing in the pen for them to climb on top of, but when I came home from work the kittens were hanging out in the living room.
That said, it is a nice pen. I can climb in to play and clean without too much trouble. The kittens have plenty of room to play, and there is enough space to keep the litter box away from the bed and food.

Our guinea pigs love it. We put it inside a kiddie pool after the mat we bought to go with it was destroyed by our pets.
