We have tried several foundations and platform beds over the years, but this is, by far, the best! When the seller said that this frame was silent, it was no joke. It has not squeaked AT ALL since we first set it up. The plastic covers on the legs have not scratched the wood floors, either.
The frame was fairly easy to assemble. You lay it out, put it together and attach bolts with an Allen wrench. The legs had to be fastened with bolts and nuts. It was easy to figure out, since the parts were labeled and it came with pictorial instructions. It did hurt my hand a bit to tighten the screws with. There are slots at the ends that allow you to attach a head and/or foot board, but we havent found one yet.
The slats were about six inches apart. If you put a thin foundation on top, thats okay. However, the person using the bed has stubby legs, so it was too far for her to climb up on both a mattress and foundation. It would be better if the slats were 2-4 inches apart, so we could put our mattress directly on top. We didnt have board, so we made do with the cardboard from the box our new mattress came in.
The bed is a full foot off the floor, which means my wife can hide storage containers and boxes under it out of sight. Since the room where the bed lives now doesnt have as much closet, cabinet, dresser or shelf space as wed like, this helps keep the space looking a little neater.
At a little over $100 at the time of this writing, the frame costs more than we would normally pay. But the fact that it is well made, has storage space underneath and does not squeak or creak one bit makes it worth that price.
Bought this frame because it literally popped up when I searched noiseless bed frame. Were active parents. We assembled it in about 20 mins, its a no brainer. With 3 large dogs, one being a Great Dane, we needed something that could accommodate us at a combined 350 lbs, plus an additional 250 in dogs. This was it. No squeaks, no creaks, and for the price its totally worth it
We bought this for our new Cal King mattress in our new home! We just wanted something simple and easy to put together. This bed frame was perfect. Also has placement for a headboard if you wanted to add. We plan on buying one for our guest room as well. Very sturdy and durable!
It was pretty simple to assemble and is very sturdy. The only thing I dislike is that the legs are right at the corners and are not recessed. I have stubbed my toes multiple times. I finally cut pool noodles and wrapped around the legs.
The package was smaller than I expected but once I put it together the Frame was a nice size and Im happy that it came in a compact box because otherwise I would not have been able to lift it. The assembly was a little complicated because of the instructions not being in detail. You dont need a box spring on it just have a mattress and it does perfectly fine.
This bed frame was easy to assemble by myself. The twin XL is the right size and the box was very heavy.
Sturdy and easy to put together. It does not make noise.
We are making into a day bed for our computer room and attaching to headboards on the back and sides. Perfect for our use. Happy with this sturdy and silent frame.
The frame is extremely well made and exactly what I wanted. However, I have the following comments: 1. The description included 6 buckles to hold mattress in place, but no buckles included. I will raise my rating to 5 stars if buckles are sent, as requested, but will lower rating to 1 star if buckles are not sent. 2. Two of the 6 legs are situated exactly where I stand to climb into bed. Remain vigilant so as not to stub a toe. 3. It took considerably longer than 20 minutes for two adults to assemble the frame...the video was extremely helpful, but it was 20 minutes to get organized and oriented. After step 1, however, assembly proceeded without any issues.

Xl steel bed frame
Easy to assembly, no lip to retain mattress from sliding side to side
Love frame but no buckles to support mattress
