    Perfect for my son

I had read other reviews about this bed being difficult to assemble. I have to disagree, it was pretty straight forward. Everything, including hardware, was labeled. Every single step is noted in the instructions along with a diagram. I read the instructions and my 9 year old assembled it with a little help. Its fairly sturdy once you attach it to a wall with the included hardware. We love it!

Takes time to assemble, still creaky

Dislike: wobbly and noisy, took a lot of tedious steps to assemble and tiny rungs for steps make then painful on feet. Like: it has plenty of room under bunk to sit a desk and chair for cozy vibes

    Not bad for the price

This bed is not bad for the price. I bought it for my 12 year old nephew who is schooling with us this bed is over my 5 year olds bed and it fits perfectly. I had 2 12 year olds help me put it up and it took us around 3.5 hours on a Sunday with a 5 year old running around the house. The set up is pretty straight forward. I want to add i am a 33 year old woman and I really didnt want to do this lol. Also, you do need pool noodles fir the ladderI have them just didnt put them up yet. In all I would recommend this bed.

    Makes a lot of noise

Pay close attention to the instructions. I had to take it down and do it all over again because I made 1 mistake and didnt notice until it was time to attach the ladder. Only thing I dont like is how much noise the bed makes. Especially when someone is on the top bunk.

good instructions, comes with a few extra screws parts

comes with everything except a Philips screwdriver. Took about 4 hours to put up. Had six year old helping. She was excited. Probably would take 3 hours with out my helper

    Very squeaky

It was pretty difficult to put together but I did it by myself. The plastic pieces that are supposed to lock in the rungs are really difficult to get it the slot as well as one of the side safety bars I had to man handle to get screwed in properly. The bed squeaks with every tiny movement my child makes. Despite the squeakyness it seems sturdy and my child is enjoying the bed and allows room for her desk underneath. Since my daughters share a room it is perfect for small spaces. Update After having the bed for a few months now the squeakiness has gone away

Sturdy enough for a preteen, not sure about durability

I would give five stars when reading on customer service alone. The bed arrived missing several pieces, and one of the pieces was misdrilled. I contacted Walker Edison through their website and received a response within a day. The individual pieces were out of stock however, the customer service rep offered to send a whole new bed free of charge for us too take the missing parts from. This bed is good for kids and preteens. Im not sure how it would hold up for anyone upwards of 200lbs. It was a pain to assemble, mostly because of the ceiling fan in the bedroom. However, given we needed it due to the small space, its worth not being able to use the ceiling fan. There were missing pieces in our original shipment, including not enough washers or screws. If not for the second bed that came free of charge, we would have been forced to return it. It does wobble when someone is climbing up. We have not had to tighten any of the screws so far, after 2 weeks of use. There is no storage capacity, it is just a frame and a bed.

    Elegant look

I like this bunk bed. It allows you to sit at the bottom bed and not hit your head on the top one. FYI: I am a short person.
