    Not for weight over 200lbs

I bought this bed mainly for my son and on the days his friend stay over night. Sometimes his friends are over 200lbs. not the best mix, but we still have it.

    Mangled box

Will update the review after I open, evaluate, and assemble the frame. Box was pretty mashed in a few spaces. not likely the manuf but ups caused. Looking forward to see how it looks in the guest room w/ Queen bed below.

    Consider for older children

These beds are for maybe 9 years olds and older because of the railing on top. There is no entrance once they reach the top of the ladder, so the child has to climb over the railing. It was difficult to assemble because instructions were not detailed so you had to be careful you were holding the metal poles on the correct side. we had to unscrew once or twice because of this. A side and B side on the top and bottom of the poles would be helpful. We received our boxes drained with detergent or some kind of cleaning product.

    Maximizes space effectively

We wanted to maximize our bed space for when the grands spend the weekends. This loft is large enough for a queen bed to fit perpendicularly underneath. I still have room to get on either side to make the bed. 4 or 5 little ones can sleep in the space of a queen bed! I did buy LED clamp lamps for underneath because it felt a bit cave like. (A positive for the grands who like having a good tent area.) And I followed the suggestion to wrap the ladders with black pool noodle insulation for comfort. I am very pleased.

    Great bed description slightly inaccurate

Materials listed under Details states stainless steel. That is incorrect, bed is made of steel. A very nice bed nonetheless. Daughter approved!

    Great Bunk!

Great buy for my 10 and 12 year old. It was fairly easy to assemble because the instructions were pretty clear. Probably best to put together with 2 people. While putting together the ladder, the holes werent matching up and I thought I had a defective bunk, but just have to pull it a little into place.

Its okay for what we need it for.

I wouldnt say its super sturdy. I definitely wouldnt use this for smaller children, since it rocks very easily(this is for our 14 year old). The instructions were ridiculous, most parts were not labeled and did not specify which direction to set things so after putting one side together backwards we had to take it apart and switch everything around so that was a pain. Its also bigger than I expected. I know it tells you dimensions, but if youre like me and just assumed that any ceiling would be high enough, let me just tell you that you are wronglol. I attached a picture of how close it is to the ceiling and a video of how easily it shakes.

    Outlasted warranty

Strong, durable and still in use after 9 years.

A great buy overall, had some issues

Beware to have the head and footboard assembled in the right directions before screwing in the ladder supports/beams. The instructions were NOT very clear on this. Also, do not over tighten them. Learned this the hard way. As a result, one of my ladders has permanently warped threading in its hole due to over tightening. I would suggest to get all the screws water tight within the frame and adjust over time. The frame eventually will settle and become wobbly, so I had to go back through and fasten them accordingly anyways. With that being said, I do not regret my purchase, just wish the instructions were made clearer.
