Bed arrived several days earlier than initially estimated per my order, which was great. Arrived in two heavy boxes via UPS, and the long box was extremely heavy and ripped on the end, but I was able to drag/push it into my front door. No damage was done to the wood parts inside the box. The directions were completely easy to read and understand, and it did take me about 2.5 hours to assemble by myself, but only because I am middle/age with arthritis and its just hard for me to move fast anymore. I am impressed with the solid wood, the color (I selected gray), and the construction. This is for my grandsons, and I feel completely confident that the bunk bed will be durable and provide many years of use. I love that I can split it into two separate twin beds! I bought this bunk bed for their home, but I may just buy a 2nd bunk bed for our home for when they or any guest spends the night. Im so impressed that I can get quality furniture like this on . Good one.
Wowza! Such a nice bunk bed at such a great price and they ship to Alaska!! I purchased 2 sets. My boys are all big. They are ages 13/17. They are good and sturdy and work well for them. Im sure they are not meant to be jumped on by 170 pound young men, but they are doing the job intended for! Looks great.
This is a steady bed! I can lay on the top bunk with my daughter and no squeaky or anything that makes me feel unstable! Im a single mom and I put it together in less then 2 hours. Super easy. Great Value.
Very sturdy and well built. The color is rich and nicely done. My husband said this one was very easy to assemble. All smiles here from parents and the boy! But it still works great.
It seems very study and easy to put together. All the pieces were there. The only annoying thing is that it arrives in two packages and we had the headboards/footboards for the whole weekend because the other package got held up. Other than that, the product itself is nice. Could be little cheaper.
I love that everything came numbered or lettered that made assembly much easier. There are some wooden dowels that are not easily fitted into the holes so we had to bang them in and it actually chipped the ladder because of it. The whole thing took about 4 hours to assemble with 2 people Lots of space.
Bought this particular one for the nice look, the ladder angle (straight up and down is hard for younger kids and easy to fall from), and the value.
We had unfortunate issues with it coming with damage and cracks. We were able to make it work and we were offered a discount rather then a replacement. This we accepted as it would be a huge hassle to have to take it apart and try to ship it back. Needs.
