We recently had another baby and needed to move our 2yo and 10yo in the same room together. Purchased this bunk bed and have been really impressed with the quality. Our 2yo sleeps on the top bunk (6in mattress) and we have no worries of him rolling off in the middle of the night. He does a great job going up and down the ladder on his own too.
I would highly recommend this bunk bed // and if your children are older // it will work easily as well! Buy it.
As a 52 female single/mom I needed something that I could assemble by myself. This bed was was up in less than half a day. My kids are 4 and 7, so pretty small. In my opinion, the bunk bed is sturdy enough for a lightweight adult on the top bunk. All pieces were in perfect condition and every piece had a label. I am very impressed with this bunk bed considering the reasonable price. I even purchased my mattresses on and they fit great (pay attention to the bed measurements)! It was incredible to buy everything in one place. Im happy.
The things that led me to this bed were its simplicity in design, color, and the fact that its made from wood. The bed came in two boxes, heavy boxes, but I was able to drag them into the living room and open them with my box cutter (be careful, or you might scratch a part). I found the assembly instructions easy to follow. Started assembling around 1pm, stopped for lunch, went back and was able to finish everything sometime between 4 and 4:30pm. Bear in mind though that I used a cordless drill with a hex bit, otherwise it would have taken too long using the manual hex tool they included. You definitely need a second person when assembling major pieces. The twin frame is a very comfortable size, so comfortable that my kids can sit together on the same level to read, or even sleep on the same level. Excellent value!
It looks good, seems strudy / using as twin beds not bunks / and fairly easy to assemble , and I am an older Senior. Very pleased with price and function. I was surprised at the quality for such a low price. Comfort.
Seems pretty sturdy especially for the price. Most if not all looks to be solid wood and not particle board which i much prefer. The finish seems durable as well. Nice look. Great value. My 4 year loves it and couldnt wait to get it put together. Took me about 3 hours, not rushed, to build. so not too bad in my opinion. Fairly easy directions. The only part that has me a little concerned is the slats that support the bed. I dont think I feel comfortable when 3 are on it. Which has happened btw (combined wait maybe 220 lbs), with no issues yet
My wife and i go up to be with little often at top and the ladder was solid and not hard for even us. Quality product.
I think this bed is very sturdy and looks so nice considering the price! It is overwhelming slightly to put together if your not used to putting things together with so many pieces. My ex husband helped me! Best for price.
NOT a job for 1 person! Comes in 2 HEAVY boxes. Took a couple days to assemble, not because of hardship, but just time on my end. Comes with all the screws and Allen wrench but you will need a screwdriver. Kids love it, it looks great and its SOLID WOOD! no particle BS wood. Worth the buy overall. One person job.
This thing is SOLID! And heavy! I originally ordered a set from Value City but they have been having fulfillment issues because of coronavirus. My set from them came damaged, and a replacement couldnt come until mid/April at earliest. I ordered in mid/February. It was just unacceptable to me!
So after careful consideration, I found this set. Inlet my 2 year old pick the color and he wanted gray. It came, I built it (only hard part was attaching the slats, which was a major pain in the behind!), and it looks absolutely spectacular. Super high quality, at only 2/5 of the price I paid for the damaged set I returned (which was nowhere near in quality compared to this set). I was able to order this bunk bed and the 2 mattresses for the same price as the bunk frame from VC. My 2 year old absolutely loves it. I do too. Im confident when my younger one is ready, he will love the bunk bed as well! Perfect.
