Bought before there were any reviews. We were hesitant but the look swayed me. We’re digging it, but I’m not sure we’re platform bed people. It’s lower to the ground than I thought it’d be.
I chose this bed for four reasons. I liked the shelf style border design, the rounded corners, the color of the wood and it seemed like a very sturdy bed. It certainly did not disappoint. It is very heavy, sturdy and beautiful. The only downside is that even with my wife assisting by handing me tools and hardware, it took me about 3 - 4 hours to put it together. But once it was completed, it was clear that it was well worth it. This is one of the nicest beds we have owned. It will make a great addition to the guest bedroom in our new house.
This frame was very easy to set up. I did it myself in less than 30 minutes. All parts are marked and directions were simple. It’s sturdy, easy to put together and ample storage space underneath. If I needed another bed frame I’d order again.
Be advised, this is a beautiful and good looking piece of furniture but the way its built, it wont frame a mechanical platform bed. It can work as a medium height platform but then again, it wont take the weight of a heavy memory foam mattress (cant even imagine bed 2 adults)
This bed is just as advertised -- beautiful design, good quality materials, well-packaged so it arrived without any scratches or dings, easy to assemble. Very glad we purchased as it has transformed our bedroom. Plenty of room underneath for storage and feels very sturdy.
