I love the look and the usefulness, especially the bottom storage area.gets rid of clutter in the laundry room/entrance and tea. My only concern is the tiny screws for the coat hooks. I had to replace them because they would not hold.

1. Difficult assembly and subpar instructions (took me about 3 hours). Need another person to assist on a few parts.
2. Strong formaldehyde/chemical smell. Needs to air out and off gas in another room.
3. Pre/drilled holes do not always line up. Will need some modification as you go.
4. Pre/installed locking mechanisms between certain pieces cannot be hand locked and will need to pry with a screwdriver.
I am very impressed with the quality of the product. Its sturdy, solid wood, easy to assemble and it looks good. The one and only issue I have is, IT IS SHORT, it stands about 58, if it was 72/ 75 inches it would be PERFECT

Once built its sturdy but building it is an absolute nightmare! Hardware was poorly put on. The connectors are a joke. I had to contact the company due to their lack of product control and lack of parts. Im pretty good building but this was about to be sent back. The connectors are horribly built. Make sure they actually fit into each other or youll have the same frustrations.
Absolutely beautiful and stylish! Fits perfectly in my daughters entryway. Ideal height, width, and depth. Personally, I like the functionality of this piece coat hooks, bench seat, and shoe storage.
Would definitely recommend this hall tree!
The product is very sturdy and of great quality. It looks great but it took a lot longer to assemble it than I thought. However, you will be pleased when its complete.
We almost sent this product back. It had so many pieces, some of which had defective hardware. The fasteners had been mal/placed and had to be reattached. It was a gift to our daughter, and her husband called us expressing the desire to return it because of its assembly issues. My husband went over armed with additional hardware and screws and was able to assemble it. It would have been a nightmare attempting to repackage it for a return. Besides the mal/positioned fasteners, some of the pre/existing holes had been made too large for the screws assigned to them, so my husband had to substitute his own. Some of the individual pieces were not labeled with identifying letters, so we had to study the pictures to figure out their identity. All this being said, it is a well/designed, beautiful piece of with clear step/by/step directions. If someone at the factory had taken the time to examine the product for defects before shipping, this would have earned a 5/star rating. The words MABE (not MADE) IN CHINA printed on the box should have been a clue!
