I wanted something comfortable and nice looking while working from home. While it delivers on appearance, the comfort is not what I had hoped. Although the seat cushion is fairly thick, 3 - 4 inches, it compresses down and feels hard immediately. Feels more like a typical sub $100 office chair for comfort.
Pros:
- Easy to assemble, with clear instructions.
- Looks nicer than typical desk chair for use in living area.
- Low arms fit under typical desk, allowing to slide closer.
Cons:
- Foam in seat is not very dense, providing only mediocre comfort after a few hours of sitting even with hourly stretch.
- Doubtful it is memory foam, feels more like a cheap furniture foam.
- Is it really ? Does not say on any labels.
I bought this chair to replace the dining room chair I had in my office, which was terrible for my back. Shipping took a while because the item was out of stock when I ordered, but it finally arrived yesterday. It was actually slightly bigger/wider than I thought, but thats good! It took me maybe 15 minutes to put together; there are just 8 bolts, 4 to screw in the base to the bottom of the chair and 4 to attach the back of the chair to the bottom. Aside from that, you just have to push the wheels in and place the cylindrical lifting piece between the wheels and the chair base. The instructions provided are clearer than mine, certainly :-)
it is very comfy and I can already tell it is a vast improvement on my old chair. It does swivel and lean back (but not super far). The color and texture are nice, I bought the beige/stonewall color. My only complaint is that it smells a little funky (warehouse smell, I think), but I hit it with some fabric refresher spray and hoping the smell will dissipate the longer it is out of the box.
In general, I recommend it!
Ive ordered several of these memory foam faux-leather chairs for my Psychotherapy Clinic, all in white - theyre very comfortable to sit in for hours, and beautiful as well. Id just say that the faux-leather grey color is kind of strange... my partner put it together; if I would have opened it myself to put together, I would have returned it, but it is together now and were kind of in too deep. The grey is a little bit like a diseased skin and feels a little bit plastic-y... I also dont love that the nailheads are chrome, giving it kind of a cheaper look. The white/cream/ivory with brass nailheads was much classier. But... it is still functions well. Id recommend this chair in any other color but the grey leather.
Gorgeous, easy to put together- less than 2 hours, comfortable and classic design. Other lookalike models sell for twice the cost . Excellent value for the money!
Ive been looking for a new desk chair after now solely working from home due to COVID-19 (usually 8-10 hours a day in the chair) and my current desk chair giving me horrible back problems. I wanted something that looked good but was also comfortable, and finally came across this. I noticed comments about the name not being anywhere on the chair itself from other reviewers, but that wasnt a big deal to me. It did come in a box though. In terms of comfort, from the moment I sat down I knew I had made a good purchase. it is got a nice tall back which makes sitting straight easier, and I like the wider seat as I often sit cross-legged which this chair allows me plenty of room to do. Id definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a stylish and comfy desk chair!
This chair is perfect. It is so comfortable and the color is wonderful and the chair overall is beautiful. Since my home office area is in a very visible, prominent part of my house, I wanted a stylish but comfortable chair. I looked at so many and decided to try this chair. This is the perfect chair!

This chair exceeds my expectations given the price point. Assembly was a big tricky, but overall, I am satisfied.
