Have nothing but good things to say about this bed. Its sturdy, I like the look and design (simple but clean lines), good area under bed for storage and it was simple to put together.
It does sit a little high, but our 3 year old just uses a stool to get in in. Even though it is a little high we fully use the area under the bed for storage so its worth it.
We purchased this bed for my mother who moved into a memory care facility. It was the perfect size for her room. She is a small lady although its for a child it worked perfectly for her.
Pieces not very well put together, had to recreate holes in order for the top bunk to be positioned correctly. Staircase screws were missing not enough supplied. Screws that were supplied were not numbered which made putting beds together take longer.
The instructions were not detailed at all. But if you have put together furniture before youll be able to figure it out. Once its put together it very nice. So good so far! ?? im very pleased with the results.
Assembly was done in 3 hrs. No parts missing. Instructions were easy to follow. Very sturdy construction. The description indicates 400 pound weight.be sure to include the weight of the mattress. ( Note: certain mattresses may need slats that are spaced closer together) I contacted the company to ask if our 15 year old grandson, who weighs 140 pounds could sleep safely on the top bunk. They advise upgrading the slats to a set that are spaced closer together. I believe the company sells them for an additional 80. The bed slats that comes with the bed are spaced 9 inches apart with a metal support bar that runs perpendicular down the center of the slats. I decided to wait upgrade the slats if necessary. It seems to me the original slats would be sufficient when SLEEPING as the weight is evenly distributed over the area but it may be wise to upgrade the slats if used when sitting on the bed where the body weight is over a small area.
Looks great, assembled in an evening (took the time to organize everything beforehand and it was stress free). One able bodied engineer husband with a very pregnant wife helping at a few key moments. We did purchase some thin plywood for the top bunk, we felt the memory foam mattress we put on top would be shredded by the rough slats, or small toys would fall through the little edge. Added some pipe insulation on the bottom bunk to prevent the bottom bunk resident from bonking their head on the wood of the top bunk. Of note, it took about a month for the paint to off/gas. Im the only one who noticed/was sensitive to this, Im pretty picky and nauseated by everything though. Neither kid needed to sleep in the room right away, so we just opened windows and kept fans on to assist with the process and didnt have anyone sleeping in there. Cant smell it now. It feels as sturdy as the furniture store models, for a fraction of the cost. My husband (190) has slept on the bottom bunk without issue. Ive been on the top bunk, but wouldnt really recommend adults climbing the ladder, its held together Ikea style and Im sure my husbands weight would crack it. Great value for the price. None of our pieces were cracked, all items needed included. Dont get me wrong / this isnt an heirloom piece, but we werent looking for something to last more than 10 years anyways
I just knew that it would come at least halfway put together. Noooo it came in one box! When it came I said to myself, I said selfthis cant be the whole bed?! It was! Despite having to put it together piece by piece, I am happy with my purchase and my granddaughter loves her bunk bed!
This bed looks very nice. Solid wood, nice color, no damage. I was able to put it together by myself in about three hours (did not have a drill). Because it didnt have pre/drilled holes in many areas (it did have some), I had to work a bit harder, but it was ok since I did end up being able to finish.

Great bed / Toddler loves it
Great strong bed. Bought twice for my kids. Room to grow and solid material. First bed has lasted 3 years so far and in great condition still!
