Very easy to assemble, very sturdy. Excellent value for price. The reviews on this bed are ultimately what drove the purchase. I rarely write reviews but felt this purchase warranted one. I dont have a photo yet as the bedding hasnt arrived. Will post when I have a photo of the complete product to share. I would say that I wish Id have purchased a thicker mattress for top bed. I got 8 for both. I would have gone 10 top bed and 8 bottom bed. I sat with a bit of oomph onto the bed and felt the mattress touch the bed frame. Ultimately its a guest bed and will serve my needs as it is but thats what Id choose if I ever am to replace the mattress.
This bed frame and trundle are better than expected!! The instructions are a confusing. But once its together its sturdy and very nice looking. So far its held up against my kids abuse. And it comes with a nifty tool to keep the screws tight. Overall Im very happy with this purchase!!

To be clear fully refunded me my money and I did reach out to directly but their response was cold at best and completely unexpected for company that claims the following on their website is a furniture brand providing families with high quality childrens products with great style. is committed to protecting and preserving the environment for our childrens future.
The very simple matter is that I ordered this from . only shipped 1 of 2 boxes. In other words I was missing box 2 of 2. It was the last one on the website and this particular color has been out of stock everywhere so I settled for an Warehouse buy thinking I could live with a few blemishes here and there. When I opened up the first box I was puzzled because none of the parts seemed long enough. I quickly realized the box said box 1 of 2 thus I did not get the 2nd part of the shipment with the long parts. I was not really after a refund so I called a second time insisting that I would love to pay for this if they could get the warehouse to locate and ship the second box. That failed. I emailed and the next morning was one of those forum emails that you know from the beginning Thank you for contacting blah blah no we cannot sell you the second half the the shipment. I was torn apart that I have to throw away this perfectly good half of a day bed because somewhere at and Seed no one was to be found to help from tossing something perfectly new away. It seemed so out of line from the values and songs we are singing today about Save the Environment . On one hand I feel like this is a first world problem and on the other hand I feel like no one gives a care any more. I bet the fully assembled product is super nice but I have to give it the lowest rating given that both parties do not live the values. At the very least ask for my half back and reunite with the other half or something. I get it. It cost more to ship. It cost more fuel and energy blah blah but caring should carry some weight in the business decision every now and then.
Packaging was awful but all parts arrived with just a few scrapes. Easy to assemble. Very solid. Good looking. The trundle fits nicely and easy to move.
I put this together by myself. It took 2 hrs. Directions are detailed pictures. There are extra screws, I guess in case you may need to change one out, or misplace any during assembly. I used 8 inch mattresses for both the top and bottom. Its a snug fit. I have a daybed set w/skirt to cover the trundle and throw pillows when its not being slept in. I love that the mattress can be adhered to the frame with provided sticky paper, so it doesnt move. I tightened the screws with only my fingers and once it was assembled, I went over them with my drill. But tools are provided.
Ive had this bed for about two weeks and I really like it. The only thing is that makes a of noise in the right corner next to the headboard, I know it would depend how good you assemble the complete product.
Looks modern and fancy. By now I have no complaints.
