We have tried - several. My student actually loves to sit at her desk now! Easy to assemble. Has a bunch of features and its not as pricey as many Ive seen.
The desk were purchased as gifts for my 10 yr old sons. They are very functional. They like having their own space to study, read or draw. My only issue is the the height adjustment on the seats. There should be a better way to adjust the height and locking mechanism. They have not fallen out of the seats but from time to time they look a little off balance just from simply lifting the chair to mover instead of sliding it across the floor.
My 5 year old just start virtual school and this desk is so perfect for him to get to class thru zoom with the iPad/Book stand and all the space, lamp, etc. He loves it!

This really is a darling desk. I was told however by a 5 year old it needs wheels. Duh!
