Im knocking this review down one start because the stair/desk area can only go on one side. So I had to improvise to make these work in my space.
Everything was easy to assemble. Im an average strength smaller woman and had no problems putting this together by myself. Instructions were easy to follow. One piece came damaged, but I just used a large mallet and block to reshape it instead of sending in for a replacement.
For the price you cant beat it. I love the full size instead of twin just makes it more exciting. I also really like the desk feature. It adds a lot of structural stability. My solution is drilling into the metal and using some washers to attach bolts that dont have pre drilled washers set in.
Read all the reviews and decided to get this for my 4 years old who is sharing a room with his sister. A regular bunk bed would be too tall for him to go up and down by himself and his sister did not want a bunk bed, so this was definitely a happy medium. My dad put it together, didnt take longer than anything else you would have to build, in my opinion. The only reason I took off a star is because 2 of the top screws would not line up and therefore we were not able to screw them in. Its two opposite sides diagonally, so, you really cant tell support wise. We also added the bed support because the mattress we had was thicker than the recommended height, and it worked out perfect. My son loves it, all of his toys are stored under it which frees up a lot of space since space is limited. He has been co/sleeping with me and my husband since birth until we got him this bed, hesbeen sleeping in it every sinceIts been a godsend!
the bed is fairly easy to assemble but it comes in a million piecesAnd some of the pieces were bent so it took longer than it should to assemble. Overall its ok. Its sturdy enough for my destructive 5 yr old. And he enjoys it.
I really loved how the way my daughter room look more space for her the prize is super aming. everything was in the manual by letters numbers it was easy to built it just took me 1 hour once u organize the pieces follow the manual instructions from the book it will make it easier to built Thank you

Theyre a few little pieces that are missing. They would have just made the bed looked like it actually did online, so yea, I would like to have them.
