I ordered this chair because of its 300 pound capacity (I am a big man, ~280). The casters were the first to go, I had to replace with extra heavy duty casters after about 3 months. Then the base went afteer about 6 months (caster holes gave out). My office has hard solid vinyl floor (no carpet). The base is made out of some kind of plastic or composite material. -- It is a very comfortable chair, but if you are a big or heavy person, and do much rolling around behind your desk, dont expect the lowers to last. By the time I bought extra heavy duty replacement parts, I spent nearly $250.
If you are an average-sized person, IM sure this chair is great.
I purchased this as a more supportive office chair since working from home predominately during the pandemic. I thought the chair was relatively easy to assemble, it took about 20 minutes for just myself to complete. I do strongly recommend putting the seat, back and arms together before attaching to the base of the chair. Directions were included and were otherwise easy to follow. Small deduction on the score as the silver arm supports appear to be painted, are not flawless and have some black spots where it looks like underlying surface is exposed. Overall I am happy with the purchase for the price, it is comfortable, fits well with my desk and arrived sooner than quoted. I would recommend if you are looking for a budget friendly but comfortable home office chair.
This chair is nicely padded and I really enjoy the tilt feature as well as how roomy it is. I have assembled 3 other similar chairs this year for home use (4 computer users in my home) and this model was the easiest of them all.
I am now telecommuting due to the recent pandemic. I knew Id need a decent office chair since using a dining room chair wasnt going to be comfortable for 8 hours a day. After about a week of leaving work every day with a backache, I knew I needed something with better support. This chair was inexpensive yet has great lumbar support. Its comfortable and I like the rocking feature. Assembly took me about a half hour. All necessary tools were included. Definitely worth the price and took care of my needs.

Good chair
It was easy to put together. Good quality for the money. The bad is there isnt much padding in the seat.
