I would give 4 stars. But they did not drill holes for the slat screws or ladder hinge. It is very difficult to screw these 2 items with no drill holes. I dont understand this. But otherwise the bed is great for the price!
One of the pieces arrived cracked. I contact the company who made it but, they dont seem to exist. gave me a partial return on the order as a remedy. Aside from this minor problem. The wood is solid and holds up well.
Bed came in two separate shipments so I had to wait. Didnt realize it wasnt complete until I had unpacked all of the first box. Second box came the next day. Had very simple straightforward instructions that were easy to follow. So far my two boys have loved the bed and its a good value.
We love our new bed, it looks great in boys room, the color is exactly as pictured and its pretty sturdy. The only thing is that the under mattress planks are made of pieces of wood pressed together and they are very easy to break, be careful if you are not a child

They did ship us a new one which we got a week later. Once the new one came in we put it together. Every part and everything is now correct. We are very happy with the beds. There is plenty of head room and its extremely sturdy.

Very nice bed, especially considering the price. Quick to assemble. Plenty sturdy enough for kids, though probably not for adults.
Grey color looks nice
This is a great sturdy bed. My boys love it. They are 5 and 6 about 50 pounds each. Some of the holes didnt line up but we made it work.
