Good frame. Happy kid. Did need to pull out the drill

My wife and assembled this in about 2.5 hours. We did run into a little snag where a hole on one of the posts did not align correctly so I had to pull out a drill and put a new hole in it. No, it wasnt misread instructions. If you didnt have a drill it would have been impossible to assemble the bed. And I dont think this is one of those items you return easily. If I had been patient enough maybe they would have sent me another post. All in all very happy.

My kid love his new bed.

Great purchase! Putting it together took a couple hours but was stress free. My only complaint is about the desk. All of the holes made for the screws, did not line up properly. Oh and my son complained about the ladder being uncomfortable to his feet. Easy fix with some foam like what the pool noodle is made from.

    Nice for younger kids

We bought one of these for each of our kids (6 and 9 years old) after researching lots of lofts and looking for one that didnt have a low weight limit and wasnt super high off the ground. They werent super difficult to put together, but definitely took the better part of one day to get them both done. The wood split on one of them when we were attaching the ladder, so we had to glue/clamp to fix it and then be really careful about screwing angle on the second attempt. Overall they look nice and have tons of shelf space underneath. My tall 6 year old can walk underneath hers without ducking, and my 9 year old has her desk underneath which she really likes. For having a 400 lbs weight limit, though, they dont seem that sturdy. They have more wiggle than I wouldve anticipated when the kids are moving around on them (and weve rechecked that everything is tightened as much as possible). Im an average sized person and wouldnt feel comfortable climbing up on it.

Great product, really saves me space.

Its a must that you are careful, the pieces are easy to Break if you arent watching what you are doing. Until I get some replacement pieces Ill have to make do with my mistakes. But this bed is great and will do me a lot of good, as I have a small space to sleep. I was able to get it put together on my own, so if you are ambitious enough it can be done, but generally speaking its a two person job.

    Cool bed

It took a while to build. Lots of pieces. But very sturdy.

    Great bed for the price

It was pretty easy to put together with two people. We had to take off a couple parts and flip them, so be sure to pay extra attention to the directions. Very sturdy, not wobbly. Perfect to have a big bed for guest and bunk beds for a kids room!

    Be prepared for effort!

I decided to do this review today after putting it together last night, to give the most accurate review of this. Packaging was great inside, lots of buffer and plastic to protect parts. I got the black, so definitely took time to inspect. Pulled out all parts and set them up to count/make sure everything was there. Pretty clear labeling, and theres a bunch of different sizes for the screws to definitely dont mix them up. This can be done solo (Im 52, 110 lbs), but you have to be aware of what parts connect and when you should do one step ahead before returning to the correct order (I put the first section with ladders together on floor and stood it up, then when it asked to connect the next piece, I connected the next pieces that would allow it to stand without me dealing with the brunt of the weight). The bed rails are great and those grey connectors really help make the bed secure when lying on it. The only issue is you need a buffer if against a wall, it will shake a bit when climbing. If possible for you, anchor the bed to avoid any insecurities. My biggest issue was the tool provided and placement. A drill would be best, as the tool they give stripped halfway through. The desk also gave me a hassle as it does not just slide in place. A tap with a cloth covered hammer and it got lined up right, but it was a bit of a hassle. Your feet will hurt climbing this. Im using cloth covered pipe insulation which is a cheap and easy solution. Also recommend it for that low bar that connects both the ladders, because in a rush you will ignore and trip over it Overall, a great purchase for the price, and really helps imize space.

    The bed helps with space.

The bed helps with space but we had to add lights underneath the bed for the desk. My son couldnt see at the desk. Also, we had to add Velcro to the ladder. Something should be added to the ladder for comfort. It hurts your feet climbing up down. It did take a while to put together but everything was included.

    SAVED ME IN COLLEGE

this made my room so chic in college, perfect with the desk under- gives so much space to spread out with homework and whatnot. Love that the ladder is on the side. Also didnt wobble too bad having sexy time up there so thats a plus

    A great purchase!

We purchased this so our son could have more floor space in his room. For the most part, it was very simple to assemble with another person. It took a couple of hours and was very little stress. Once it was together and in place, we couldnt be happier. Our son now has so much more room to play, a study area as part of the bed, and its pretty sturdy. A great value for the price!
