    Good for small apartments

DO NOT FLOP ONTO THE BED. The wood will break and Im not sure if there are replacements for it. Also it is extremely low to the ground. Im 61 so its kinda of a problem. Very nice style though overall small gap between the wall bed and mattress so your items fall behind it very easily

    Nice bed frame

This bed frame was easy to put together and is sturdy enough for my heavy mattress. It is a little heavy to lift up but again I do have a heavy mattress. It has plenty of storage underneath, I use the storage for my blankets, sheets, seasonal clothing and shoes. I would not recommend putting very heavy items in the storage area because the bottom piece is a little flimsy but you could reinforce it with a thin piece of plywood if you wanted to put heavy things under the bed.

Nice but drawers are a bit small

Assembly instructions were pretty straightforward and assembly was pretty easy. Was a little disappointed at the size of the storage compartments but overall Im pleased with it.

Bed easy: Drawers impossible without screwdriver

As a woman who was about to get her period i became frustrated after failing to screw the drawers in without a drill. I almost myself in a split second. My family had to check on me because of how angry i was. We have a pet parakeet and i banged on its cage and yelled it to SHUT UP!!

Great Bed - Fairly Easy To Assemble, Nice to Look At

This review may be a bit premature given that my son hasnt had a chance to sleep on the bed yet, so I will update this review if we notice any issues. So far though, I can give my opinion about the assembly and overall design. Bed style - Queen with storage Packaging: The bed came in a single (heavy) box to my front door. The parts were packaged with clear labels on everything inside of that shipping box. Everything was neatly organized down to the screws and washers, and nothing was damaged. Assembly: This bed can be assembled by one person but would go much quicker if you get someone to help you. The most tedious part is installing the slats and building the storage boxes. Annoyances: The slats must be installed with the bow side facing up, not down. You wont know this by reading the instruction manual, instead they have a sticker on one of the slats with this instruction so if you dont happen to see that particular slat until after youve put in a few incorrectly, youll have to redo those. My other annoyance is with the storage. As others have said, it can look a bit wonky due to it resting on the ground instead of having a track to hang from. That makes it easier to pull in and out of the bed, but it can go in a bit crooked or not go in all the way and have a slight gap. There is a way to lock it in place but Im sure that can become a bit of a hassle every time you have to use the drawer. Overall impressions: Its a nice-looking bed! My son has laid on it a few times today, but we wont know how it really holds up until he starts to use it regularly. I bought him a hybrid, 12 pocket mattress for this bed that doesnt require a box spring since this is a platform bed with slats. Just make sure the mattress you use is the appropriate size for the bed youre buying (Queen bed = Queen mattress/ Twin bed = Twin mattress, etc).

    Exceeded expectations in every way!

I was so impressed; this bed has exceeded all my expectations! High quality materials, easy to build (2 people, about 1.5 hrs at a careful pace), organized step-by-step process.... so much better than and half the items on Wayfair. The joints and structural parts are all thick-gauge metal. The screws and hardware have both the female and male parts, all metal, no wooden dowels, no trying to pierce holes in random places. Everything lined up properly. The screws are vacuum packed and labeled clearly, with generous extra bits just in case (also labeled clearly) The textile headboard is a neutral taupe-y grey and feels like it will last a long time. The gas lift works seamlessly. Just a gorgeous functioning piece. I am so so happy with it.

    Great!

    Fabulous for the price

    Overall design is poor

Unless your bed is going to be on wood or tile flooring, the drawers on this bed will not work for you. Very time consuming to assemble, and wood slating is not very sturdy.

    Wonderful

I got this for the purpose of keeping my cats out from under my bed and it works great. Now I just need to find a way to keep them from scratching the corners. It wasnt too hard to put together. It does take some work considering the size and weight, but overall this product is fantastic for the price. This was the cheapest one I could find that went to the floor like this and I am more than pleased with the quality.

Pretty easy to assemble - looks more expensive than it is

I was encouraged by other reviews I had read, and just put the bed together slowly, without tightening everything up until Step 9. Everything is labelled clearly, and you get a parts list to check before you get started (highly recommend doing this). I put it together in about 3 hours - and it looks pretty great. I think I imagined the storage space to be bigger than it is, but honestly, its plenty. We replaced an old Mandal platform bed with storage drawers with this bed, because a 4-drawer bed means you are forced to out the bed in the center of the sleeping area to use both sets of drawers. The center lift means we can have the bed right up by the windows, its got a bench below it, and theres no loss of access at all. Note: the bed is harder to push back down than to lift up, but I think thats maybe a safety feature. All in all, it was well packed, the slats are wood, rather than metal, the fabric finish is nice and understated, and its not hard to assemble, especially if youve done a fair amount of assembling in the past.
