I purchased this desk since I had to suddenly work from home indefinitely due to covid/19. It functions as my work desk during the day and a gaming desk at night. Its an excellent size and it was pretty simple to put together. I did it by myself in about an hour. It feels very sturdy and I feel comfortable leaving my feet on the bottom bars underneath. Overall, I highly recommend as a simple desk for work or gaming.
With the Covid19 issue forcing me to work from home for the first time, I needed a bigger desk quickly and cheaply. My last desk was a Goodwill find that had probably been dorm room furniture 20 years ago. But hey, it was 9 and worked. This desk is miles ahead of where that was. I have plenty of room now, it looks super chic / the wood doesnt look super fake, the metal has a great finish, and the design is really cool / lots of places to put my feet too! The directions werent super helpful, but I had zero mixups of pieces or anything like that during installation. I will caution that if youre strong, be very careful when tightening screws. I have a couple places where I overtightened and either bent the frame or pushed a screw slightly too far into the desktop. Im only a day into the desk, but I love that it gives me two clear workstations / one for me and one for my employer, and a third one where I can just have some extra space in case I ever want to add another monitor or docking station. Again, for the price, youre not going to beat this desk at any of the cheap furniture stores. I didnt have high hopes going into this purchase / just something I could get quickly and cheaply / but Im really, really happy with this purchase.

Once properly assembled it is actually very sturdy and solid just keep in mind this is not meant to hold two hundred pounds. Will easily handle , I would think, any reasonable and normal desk setup, multiple computers and monitors etc.and son on. The wood top is 1/2 particle board which is fine as it is fairly well braced. When you finally tighten everything up near the end it stiffens right up.
Overall I love it for what I spent. I use mine more as a utility/craft table with just a laptop when I need one. The top is nice and level and flat and desk does not wobble at all.
As has been said in other reviews follow the directions and pre read read them first so you know ahead of time what to tighten and when. As many have said do not over tighten or you will start to bend in the square tubes. Just tight enough to snug everything up is good. If you see the square tube start to dimple in a bit stopits as tight as it will get.
The directions were not bad in my opinion but larger pics would help a bit. One note is the six long braces are all identical it just depends on which way you spin them according to whether it is top rear, top front or rear bottom brace. If you have them spun wrong no biggiejust twist them until the correct holes are facing the proper direction. Basically you cant put them on the wrong direction or in the wrong spot just matters which direction the holes face and that can be fixed easily by twisting it one way or the other if they are facing say sideways instead of up.
One note. When you assemble the two sides in steps one and two you have to remember to assemble one opposite of the other so you have a left and right facing side. Since all these parts are kind of the same you can end up making say two left hand sides like I did.duh. No probsquick fix to re assemble but just a note.
Other than that it was really easy, box arrived with no damage. All parts were there and in perfect shape and all screw holes lined upwhich again only happens if you leave it all a little loose until instructions say to tighten,
Overall we worth the money.
Im not the greatest at putting things like this together so I made an error and broke a piece of the table during assembly. I contacted the sender and showed what happene. Id hoped just to get that one piece the rest of the desk was really fine but they didnt have any available. The sender is sending me one entire new product free of charge. I actually have it set up and it is exactly what I paid for. I draw and I game on a desktop and this desk is sturdy doesnt wiggle and supports my set up just fine. I really like the material if the desk the look of the black wood is nice. Thanks a lot
This was really easy to put together, which surprised me. Like other buyers warned, you should definitely read through the instructions before starting. The instructions are very clear, written in clear English (nothing amusing, but thats good), parts are well labeled and screws are in labeled bags. There is even a bag containing one spare of each. I like the long Allen wrench, which is now in my toolbox; no other tools are needed.
It took me about 2 hours to assemble, but I took my time and have arthritis, so I didnt want any do/overs. The hardest part was attaching the first screw on each of the top pieces because youre working blind, but once the first one is attached, the others are lined up, so no problem.
The desk is sturdy and attractive. I highly recommend this product and manufacturer.
Good desk for the price. Some assembly instructions difficult to understand but I figured it out. Light gauge metal, so when they say dont overtighten they mean it.
I do like the way it looks. Feels a bit flimsy disassembled but after its all together its fairly sturdy. All in all Im happy with it.
