This product did not come with instructions. So that was annoying. The ones on line used letters and the wood in the kit was marked with numbers, so that was real fun for my husband to figure out. He added some peg board on the bottom over the slats for extra support for the mattresses. There were also a few dings in the wood. But, not worth sending back. Overall, its a nice bunk bed and is sturdy. Our son loves it.
For the price this a good bed. That being said, spend a little extra and make it a great bed. Throw away those wooden slats that hold the mattress up. The only thing they hold up is disappointment. Go to home depot and have them cut you a 3/4 sanded pine sheet of plywood to 38 5/8 × 74. You children will live longer. Also make sure you glue the joints together and use blue loctite on any of the screw cam fittings... they tend to back out after awhile and things get loose.
We have gotten SO many compliments on this bed! My son is 5 and has asked for a bunk bed for more than a year. We decided to finally get him one this one matches his current furniture so well! It was simple to assemble we didnt run into any issues when assembling. The bed looks great. It moves a little bit from side to side when my son (55 lbs) climbs on the top bunk but we have a very comfort based carpet so I feel like that may be the issue for the movement. Would definitely buy again!
We just built two of these beds for our Twin boys that just turned 4. I was pleased to find that you CAN install the ladder to either side of the bed depending on how your room is laid out. We ended up using both options for the ladder and install was a breeze for both options. I am a pretty big guy, 6ft 225lbs and have been in the beds with both my boys, 36lbs each and the bed feels as solid as a rock. There is no swaying or loose joints or anything. Very happy with how sturdy they are. We ordered 9 memory foam mattresses as well that are each 35lbs, so combined weve had over 330lbs in each bed without any issues. The color is exactly what is depicted on the photos and the loft is big enough for the boys to play and read under the bed. We even built and added a wall book shelf (not included) under the beds for their books. Would rate these 10 stars if that option was available and we HIGHLY recommend them!

I know I could have bought a similar bed that I wouldnt have had to modify but theyre not as cute as this one and they didnt have a slide. The bed is very sturdy even with the changes we made and its beautiful. The slide is steep but after a few days they figured out how to safely slide down it. My girls love their new big girl bed so Im happy with my purchase.

Great bed for kids
It is a great bed- the slide is pretty steep but overall my daughter loves it. Overall an easy set up that took an hour or so.
