this is a great bed. My son loves it. I highly recommend before you start to assemble go through the box and make sure every piece is there. Ours were all there, Ive just had it happen before to get half way through something and pieces missing. But I have no complaints. Definitely a great deal.
The smell everyone talks about went away a few days after being put together. The metal holding the ladder is already bent. Scared to see what shape itll be in , in a few months.

It was a little tricky to assemble between 2 men. Took them close to 3 hours. But , turnout was great. Well made , real wood, and our two kids love it .
I was surprised by the quality of the material. Once assembled it is very sturdy and I have no second thought about the kids safety here. Only issue was a few of the vertical pieces were a bit rough around the edges to the point I sanded lightly to prevent the kiddos from getting any splinters. Other than that it is a great product for the money.
Overall, I like this bed. It came in one huge super heavy box. I felt that it was packaged pretty well. I went through all of the parts first to make sure nothing was damaged. All of the wood pieces were in good condition with no damage. The hardware was really a pain though. None of it was clearly marked at all. Sorting through it and figuring out what was what, was an unnecessary pain. Overall, the set up wasnt too bad. Took me about 3 hours by myself. There were a few parts that didnt line up exactly but it was doable. I would definitely recommend this to someone looking for something affordable. If youre looking for excellent quality, this might not be it. For me, it was exactly what I was looking for.
I bought this for my granddaughter who is 3 1/2 yrs old. She absolutely loves it! It is very sturdy and holds me too. She has made the house underneath where her baby dolls and stuffed animals live.
