Fantastic couch/futon! I ordered the grey fabric and it looks beautiful. Very easy to assemble (took me less than 20 min) and not too heavy. My mom and step mom slept on it when they visited no problem it turned into a bigger than twin but slightly smaller than full sized bed. It worked great!
easy to assemble and it looks great, but some questionable aspects, like what are the weird little balls falling out of it? had to remove a few screws and re-screw them in because they were not in correctly. its not the most comfortable but should be fine for my office/guest room (though I think you will only fit 1.5 adult guests on it)
Simply amazing. Assembly is easy and can be done within half an hour (just putting the legs with tools included.) Also great for sleeping too for a single person. For a couple of average size it is do-able but not 100% comfortable. Value for money. Before buying this futon went to store but this is not comparable to the similar futons available there. This is too good.
Weve been very happen with this Futon and the matching Chaise Lounge. The grey linen is very stylish and this piece looks like a much more expensive piece of furniture than it is. There is a small tab underneath that locks it to the lounger which holds it snugly enough that it looks and feels like one piece.
We have not tried sleeping on it, but it is very comfortable for sitting. The back angle is adjustable and the futon is remarkably supportive for a dual purpose piece. I am 6 4 tall and I dont think it would be long enough for me to sleep on, but when attached to the matching Chaise it is more than long enough. If you are under 6 you may be able to comfortable sleeping on just the futon.
Assembly was very easy. The legs come stowed in a small pouch underneath the lounger and quickly attach with the provided Allen wrench. It took me no more than ten minutes to assemble both the futon and the lounger. One thing to keep in mind is that it is a large and unwieldy box, if you are not comfortable moving large awkward boxes alone it might be best to have a friend around to help unpack.
This is an excellent buy! I read through SO many of the reviews, and it was clear that some loved it and some absolutely loathed it. Needless to say, I was torn and thought about it for several weeks before making the purchase. My fiance set it up within an hour, and it looks fantastic. It definitely looks a lot more expensive than the price. As for comfort--I actually like hard surfaces to sleep on, so to me this is quite comfortable. Not bad for sitting and reading a book either I paired this futon with some silky sheen light turquoise decor cushions and it looks very modern/chic. Happy with my purchase, $180 very well spent.
The grey linen has a 1950s vibe that makes me smail, though the design is more 1980s.
This sofa is not compact, it is NOT minimal though. You will need bolsters or throw pillow to make it a usable sofa. The sofa is comfortable for an hour or two, then the thinness of the base becomes evident. If youre alone or with someone youre close to, you can move over and make it comfortable again. I wouldnt pay a hotel to have this as my bed, but for a quick snooze between overthrowing corrupt governments and stopping a zompire invasion this is more than sufficient.
Assembly was easy. The box was manageable (think of a bar fridge thats been squished from the sides).
In my particular sofa, the left and right backs dont click to the exact same position, so for better or worse, mine looks like two Chair-And-A-Halfs pushed together. Im tempted to buy the matching lounge, but cant decide after two weeks if this will be relegated to the guest room / office or stay in the living room.
If you admire the classic Herman Miller aesthetic of office furniture in your living room furniture, this piece will do nicely. If you want a cushy, overstuffed sofa to watch Rom-Cons on all day while sipping green tea, low-cal Skinny Appletinis, then tequila as you Facebook cry about your life, this is not the piece for you.

Sleeps well, adjusts easily. Nice dark gray color. Easy to put together. Heavy which adds to its comfort, built well.

looks great and sleeps
Buy the set with the lounger, looks great and sleeps bigger
Retro fabric, minimalist design, fairly comfortable for sitting and sleeping

its not the most comfortable futon in the world
Hey, its not the most comfortable futon in the world, but its very attractive and modern for its price. If only the cat would stop chewing on it.
Happy mom
Very happy with fabric and color. Its a little hard. Its in a playroom easy to turn down.
