It looks very stylish and modern, looks much more expensive than it ishowever its not for sleeping, I slept on it one night to test it out, I couldnt get comfortable, I woke up in pain, Maybe with mattress topper its better! Im satisfied with the purchase, cant really complain much its so affordable, looks great, but not most comfortable however gets the job done in home office or studio as extra seating
Ive had this for a good 6 months now, and while it is not as comfortable as a couch, it is quite comfortable for a couple hours. Hopefully it will become more comfortable with time and use, but for now it is almost too firm.
I would have put 5 stars but there is a little metal sound when you sit down or move on it that is kind of loud. The directions were super easy and simple to understand. I like the way it folds up and down easily just wish there wasnt the noise when it is in the couch position
When I was looking at the reviews for this futon, they were kinda all over the place. Some people loved it, some hated it so I was a little hesitant but I really like the look so I went with it and I am glad I did. People are correct that the futon is firm but I personally like it. I live in a studio so I wanted something that was comfortable but wouldnt suck me in and put me to sleep since I do a lot of work for grad school on the couch. I love the look of it as well. It visually doesnt take up a bunch of space since it sits off the floor and the legs allow you to see underneath. The fabric is nice and I really like that there is a space on the underside of the couch for the tools and parts that come with it. It was very easy to assemble and I like that it lays flat since I have a friend stay with me every once in awhile. Granted my friends are young and dont mind a harder surface so I dunno if you would want someone who has a sensitive back on it but if you did I would recommend just getting a small foam layer to put on top and it helps a lot and is easy to store. Overall very happy. I wanted something not super expensive/big and I am very satisfied with this. Also free shipping with Prime!
This is a great, inexpensive futon! I bought the grey one. It is easy to put together and looks very nice in our game room. I would recommend putting it against the wall as the back of the futon is a cheaper looking black fabric (this is a recommendation based on personal preference rather than an actual issue). I plan to buy the matching chaise in the future.
I didnt think a couch could be delivered in a nice compact box but this was easy to open, easy to put together, easy to flip over and just beautiful. I finally have a guest bed, that doubles as a modern stylish couch that isnt heavy but is still sturdy. I love the color. It looks just like the picture, and all of the feet of the couch are rubber so it wont scratch the floor. Great price, free shipping, and came quickly. Happy couch owner!
I just got it today and set it up. Nice and sturdy. I prefer a more firm cushion so its perfect for me. I like that the back can recline or be laid flat to sleep on. Easy click down and its ready for a guest to sleep on. I also bought the chaise lounge to go with it. Looks great. Just needed something inexpensive to replace my old piece of crap couch for now.
I got both the chaise lounger and the splitback futon/couch in Grey. Both are very nice cloth fabric. They do make a lot of static though. Not the most comfortable thing to sleep on but it manages as a couch. The chaise lounger by itself is more comfortable than the futon. It was a very affordable, nice looking couch to start our apartment with, and very easy to put together!
