These chairs are a breeze to assemble and manually recline with ease. Dont expect perfection, I believe most will be pleasantly surprised. I would recommend for anyone in need of a recliner but dont have a big budget.
Because I need to keep my leg elevated, these recliners will meet my need.
I will offer the seat cushion is stiff, as in rock hard. Dont expect density or comfort like firm memory foam. The arms and leg rest are thinly padded so I anticipate long term wear will reflect in the short term. Ill post updates. Ill look for a cushion that can be attached to the leg rest to provide padding and improve comfort for my leg, as the padding currently offers a lot to be desired.
Point of concern, when trying to recline all the way back, the chair slides forward to a sitting up position. This issue should be researched by the manufacturer. Another point of concern, comfort. If the seat cushion doesnt soften, these will make for painful seating.
For now, were enjoying the chairs.
Update
Weve had the chairs a full week. After sitting in one of the chairs every evening, Im experiencing sciatic nerve pain. I may decide to return one of the chairs and let my husband move one of the chairs to his tv room. If there was a way to safely replace the foam, I would, but the cushions are sewn closed to the seat portion, as opposed to loose for easy cleaning and replacement as they wear.

After much discussion, we opted to keep the recliners and give the chairs proper break in time.
I must concede Im quite pleased now that the seat cushions have softened to some degree which has alleviated the uncomfortable pressure on my lower back. The leg rest offers little padding so can be quite uncomfortable after watching a two hour movie. Ill get creative and attach a proper memory foam cushion designed to wrap snugly to the contour of the leg rest. Easy/pey for creative minds.
These chairs are beautiful and have broken in nicely and Im super pleased we opted to keep them in our home.
Love this chair. Very easy to put together. Reclines nice to watch TV. This is in a very small den and fits perfectly. I also love that there was NO Styrofoam in the packing.
I ordered the light grey and am very happy with. They are firm, recline easy and also recline back to sleeping position. The back wasnt quite high enough for my husband when he reclined back but he said he can move down a bit and fit fine for his head to rest on the back of the chair. Also the are narrower than your normal recliner which I like.
Update on Original Review / I looked at others reviews to see if anyone has experienced similar. When I am sitting on or close to this chair, there is a bad smell. Not chemical, but more organic, maybe kind of like sour milk. I havent seen anyone else with this issue, so maybe its specific to mine. Its been sat on about 5 times since I got it about a month ago, and nothing has been spilled on it. Ill try a couple remedies to see if I can get it to go away.
The color looked more muted than it actually is. The description said muted green, so I expected a more creamy green. Its more of a lime green with gray threads running through. Still works for my purposes, but dont expect a muted green if thats what youre looking for. It came quickly and went together easily. Im 54 and my feet dont touch the floor if I scooch all the way back in the seat, resting my back against the back of the chair. Its fairly easy to recline, but I cant get it to stay reclined in the fully lying down position. Im going to need for after surgery, and Ill need the partly reclined position, so it will serve its intended purpose. Ok for the price and its pretty.

Chair works wonders. As soon as we sit and turn it on, we pass out immediately. Highly recommend it.
