Exactly what youd expect - thin particle board, works fine under light use. I have it in a guest room for setting luggage on. Took about 45 minutes to put together, instructions were very clear. Fabric is a durable canvas. Didnt care for the color so I used my staple gun for a quick reupholstery with some scrap fabric. Probably wouldnt last very long in a kids room or somewhere where it was taking a lot of abuse.
Works well, quality is okay. I bought this for my entry way and like it but there is one thing I would change I would replace the cardboard backing with the same material as the rest of the bench. When I opened the package I was so excited to put it together but I was and still am very disappointed with the back of the bench.
Some pieces came broken. One piece of wood was split down the center. Luckily, that piece was on the back and not a support piece. It serves its purpose, and looks fine, and is sturdy to sit on, but I guess you get what you pay for.
Great little bench to put under a window or in a closet for getting dressed. Uses standard cubbies and the material on the cushion is like an outdoor material so it is easy to clean. It helps protect that particle board too. Easy to put together. It is a small peice so check the dimensions to make sure it is what you want.

Looks good and strong
Using as a storage bench in the laundry room. Looks good and strong. My husband is a big, tall guy and the bend supports him just fine.

very nice , sturdy , I bought the cubes to go with it PERFECTION , good price it took an hour to put together but it was worth it .
