Overall the assembly instructions werent that difficult to follow, but there were a lot of bolts to keep track of and I recommend at least two people to put the bed together. The hinges on mines were slightly bent so it made the task of screwing them in and having the sides of the bed aligned properly difficult but I still managed the task by using a bit of muscle. Lifting the bed/frame is way enough with the hydraulic lift but closing it can be difficult. When testing the lifting machinism beforeI put on the mattress on the frame, I found that you have to use a good deal of force behind closing it (enough that I was afraid Id accidentally break it) but once I placed the mattress on it, it was significantly easier to close. Maybe all it needed was a little extra weight evenly distributed throughout. I love the extra built in storage space and am surprised at how sturdy it feels so far.
Love this bed. Gives my bedroom so much more room. Bed did not come all at once. Came in 2 separate shipments. You will need two people to move the boxes as they are very heavy. Very easy to assemble took me and my husband maybe three hours to build. From what I read on other reviews I have no problem with my mattress dipping down or sinking in. It is very sturdy especially with two young boys who love to jump in horse around have had no issues. Absolutely love this bed.
Its gorgeous and extremely well made. I expected to loose a bit of storage when changing over from just scooting things under my old bed frame, but I actually gained a ton! Its very easy to access and keep organized. The frame itself is very beautiful and the material is great. I expected the faux leather to smell a bit at first, but it had no oder! I assembled the frame by myself and it took about 3 hours but I only used the provided tools and the instructions were very easy to follow. If I had used an allen wrench drill bit and drill instead, it probably would have taken 1 hour. Very very happy with this frame!

The corners are to pointy and it was missing like 2 holes on the top
