I love the design and color-matching scheme this piece offers. My kitchen is small and I'm tired of my counters being crowded by pots n' pans. This is convenient to use. The drawers are wonky and don't lay flush on the surface of the face. The levers are hard to close, so some are open on my unit. Some of the screws were missing and some had too many, so proper counting of these is essential.
I use this for scrapbooking. I love the extra workspace that can be folded down and it has plenty of storage space for blank cards, finished cards, my electronic paper cutter, and much more. I love that I can move it from room to room if I want.
This was a great purchase for us. We needed more counter space in our kitchen and needed more storage. This was the best choice for us! The counter took about 2 hours to assemble. 40 minutes of that was unpacking it. Lots of packing material included, so be ready to fill your garbage cans!
The storage space is perfect! Spacious, the drawers are deep.
Assembly definitely takes two people on some of the parts. No swear words were used in the assembling of this product!
The only negative is the cabinet doors are not even, but honestly its not a deal breaker at all (unless your OCD is gonna go crazy looking at it)
I still give it 5 stars!
Very pleased with this product. Assembly was a breeze. It seemed daunting once everything was unpacked. However, I was able to get it all together in a couple of hours, by myself and at a leisurely pace. It is assembled using built in hook and latch systems as well as screws and bolts. The unit seems very sturdy and well built. I had a few pieces that didn't quite align that I had to muscle together a little. All my drawers open smooth and sit level and flush (I saw some people had issues with that). I am all around very happy with my purchase.
I'll admit that I was rather nervous purchasing this - as it involved significant assembly, and I have literally never been able to master most of the ikea purchases that I made. And, when the box arrived - the instructions and number of components looked rather off putting. But, I very much wanted a second kitchen counter for food prep, and this cart, along with the leaf - really was ideal.
The entire build, by myself, took about 4 hours without really putting any concerted effort (I'd add a part or two every couple hours) and was remarkably straightforward for someone with no assembly skills whatsoever. If I had to do it a second time it would take me less than 90 minutes - which is what I expected it would take most people with any spatial IQ.
Highlights of the build - the only secondary tool required is a screwdriver with a phillips head (don't use too small a head or you will strip the screws a bit). All of the screws, bolts, and other fasteners come in their own bag, and, unlike an Ikea build, there is none of the weird interlocking parts that you need to fit in and then twist - rather the counter comes with its own self fastening locks, that you simply need to press with a bit of thumb pressure to lock in.
I will note, that even with directions as perfect as these, I took about five or six wrong steps (that nobody with any assembly skills whatsoever would have done) - but they were easily corrected (missed a bottom rail in one case, and placed the slide rails for the drawers on backward - obvious when the drawers didn't all glide out silky smooth like they do when properly assembled.
Oh, I also ended up with 12 additional wood screws - but, because they had a name, I was able to look at the directions and immediately see where to place them (inside pre-drilled holes to make it trivial).
The counter, once completed, also doesn't have any of that Ikea wobble - lots and lots of wood screws in strategic locations make sure of that. And, the wood screws all have names - Magnetic wood screws, Long wood screws and such - each individually bagged.
Ikea could also learn a great deal about assembly instructions - these were remarkably straightforward, with every component labeled with a letter, so you couldn't go wrong.
The cart, once assembled is super stable with a far nicer wooden counter top than I was expecting. It practically begs to have food prepped on it. The unexpected bonus that I hadn't even really thought of - awesome drawer and shelf space - my rather confined kitchen counters have now been mostly emptied, and I finally have a place for paper towel rolls.
All in all, I'm super pleased with this purchase, and it came to about $60 less than what the identical counter from Wayfair would have cost me.
Oh - one final note - the packaging was immaculate. The outside cardboard box was a bit scuffed up in shipping - nothing to be done about that - but it was irrelevant, because the interior was double insulated, and each of the parts came with their own individual wrapping. Not a single chip, scuff, or mark to be seen - everything was perfect. Absolutely stupdendous purchase, I couldn't be happier.
So I was really excited to get this cart but I was nervous to put it together. Whoever packaged this cart did one hell of a job. The directions were clear and the pieces were labeled I was very happy with this setup. I did it in about an hour hour and a half by myself. For anyone deciding to buy this cart do it. Its beautiful and easy to construct. So happy
I searched and searched for the perfect sized cabinet for a coffee and blender station for my kitchen. This was it. My kitchen has a pretty sizable corner next to the pantry that was empty so I definitely needed an additional affordable-somewhat-temporary-solution while we wait a couple years to remodel.
The assembly was very easy. I took my time laid out all the pieces in my office and went to work. The only hard part was locking some of pieces together, I really had to get some pliers and elbow grease to get it to turn completely. You could leave it halfway but I really wanted everything perfect so I took the time to get it right. One tip that I will share with you is that there are locks in the middle section when you place the counter on. It seemed to not fit properly at first but as I was assembling the drawers I noticed them. And once locked them, the counter was 100% locked and loaded. You may need a drill for the drawers, the bottom part is not pre drilled for some reason. Everything else was perfect. Follow the directions carefully. Make sure you put the doors on before the counter, I accidentally reversed and had to remove the hinges in order to not have to remove the counter. But no harm, no foul. Also I customized the piece a bit and decided to leave out the towel rack and extra side shelf. There are holes, but you'll never see it because I'm using it pushed back against the wall in between two large pantries. It fits like a glove and it's very nice quality. No dents, dings, scratches or missing pieces. I am happy with my purchase and it shipped very fast. A
After reading like 500 reviews of multiple kitchen carts/islands I am so glad we decided on this one. The package came slightly damaged, but none of the contents were impacted. The box is super heavy and you'll probably need 2 people to put it together just so you don't have to struggle holding pieces in the proper orientation. The directions are easy to follow and they include extra hardware. They don't recommend using any electronic tools but we used an electric screwdriver and it saved a ton of time! We were very careful not to over-screw. Some of the locks were a bit tough to secure but we used the back side of a tool to push them into lock position and that helped save our fingers. Overall, this was pretty easy to put together. We did not put on the side towel bar or rack so the unit would fit in the space. I will probably just get some plugs to fill those pre-drilled holes but you can't really see them, anyhow. The finished product looks amazing, is super sturdy and high quality. Just note that the white is not pure white. It is slightly creamy white. It matches our cabinets beautifully so I was happy about that. Definitely recommend this over cheaper units.

Just like the picture!
No complaints so far!
Delightful, well built, wonderful table top, extraordinary storage.
