My chair arrived yesterday. I paid for assembly so I dont know how difficult it is but it took the professionals about 30 minutes and they knew what they were doing. Im very happy with the chair and it looks great in my room. I bought some decorative turkish pillows and put one on the chair and it looks awesome.
Assembly would have been easy, but one of the bolt holes on mine had ruined threads, so the threaded knob wouldnt go in. That one small issue could have made the whole chair useless. I bought a 1/4 x20 thread cutting tap for about five bucks on and chased the threads in about 10 seconds. After that, the knob screwed in smoothly and the chair was assembled. Someone who didnt know how to repair the threads might have had to return the whole chair for that one tiny machining error.
Aside from that, its very big. My feet dont touch the ground. I got a small footrest to be able to put my feet on something for when I dont want to recline. But when it is reclined, my feed dont hang off the end, and it has no trouble supporting my weight at 275 lbs. Very solid.
Its true, regardless how it sounds. I could have better coaches perhaps. It feels really good, especially for the back. My son uses it mostly for reading and for music practice with guitar and bass. Given that nowadays kids use too often electronic devices, this armchair helps them keep their back straight!! Much better than the bed. It fits in the room too.
Assembling is not hard, but just a bit tricky when joining the sides. Make sure it will be in the right position when flipping it over. The instructions are correct. I would say 1 person is able to assemble it but with some occasional help.
The chair is ok. We have given it away and only bought it 2 months ago. Our cat just loved to use the sides as a scratching post and the material easily started to fray. Tried covering the sides. Our white dog sat in it and the whole seat became fur covered immediately. If you have pets, I wouldnt recommend this chair. Otherwise, it makes a nice chair for a bedroom/parlor.

Sides wont sit flat
Cute chair and sits fine but not sturdy. We have tried everything to get the sides to stabilize and sit flat but there is a gap in between.
