This is the best recliner for a tall or big person. I am 63 285lbs. This the only recliner I have ever had that does not cause neck pain as the back is actually tall enough. I slept in this chair for months after my 4th right knee replacement subsequent complications. It is still just as comfortable and still looks new. I wish they still made these in real leather.
The only negative I can think of is that the handle is too low and/or short. Buy an extension for the handle and it works great. We also purchased arm covers to keep areas where hands and elbows sit on arms.
Some reviews state the back keeps coming off. There are two wing type bolts that you have to screw in where back attaches to base. Flip it on its front and put those in the back is fimly in place.
Outstanding quality and sturdiest design! I can see this chair ladting decades!! It is rated for the largest of large people and I didnt know that when I ordered it but this just makes it very well made. However it is stuff so you wont be sinking down into it at leadt not for some time after it gets broke in. I dont mind ; I like the support. So has good lumbar and neck support. And it looks very nice not like a discount piece from a discount furniture store. Very nice Very good value for the price!
My new recliner is as advertised. I am a large man and needed the 500lb cap. I am replacing a lift chair that had worn out and broke. This chair sits high enough that I dont need the lift. So very happy. Also the delivery driver and assistant were great. They took it out of the box outside because box way to big to go through the door. They brought it in and put it together. They even took the box with them. Truly a great experience.
I was surprised at how comfortable it actually is for half the price of my last one. When they say big, they meant big. It is a few inches higher than my last one. I had to order 3 inch extensions for my end tables to bring them up to the chair at a comfortable height. Overall very satisfied

Loved the feel of the fabric. Looks like saddle leather, but soft like suede. I now call my husband Cowboy Phil!

Great chair. Easy to assemble and very comfortable. Im 63 and my feet do not hang off the end when reclined.

Chair is used as a vanity chair in our bathroom between the twin lavatories.
