Beautiful bench too bad it doesnt come with decent instructions, you know something with pictures and actual written instructions. Its a concept I know, but picture instructions without any written instructions is pretty worthless. Otherwise I love the bench! Wish it didnt take half the day to put it together!
This bench is beautiful and sturdy. Once its put together, its worth the money. And theres the problem - putting it together. Ive spent a lot of time putting together furniture, but this one is one of the worst. It appears very easy, but the directions are wrong. Ignore the arrows - on my directions, both arrows were wrong. Make sure of two things: the two middle walls go to the outside of the brace, but the screw goes through the brace into the wall. Its an easy fix if you do it wrong, but fixing it later takes a lot of time. The baskets, on the other hand, were very difficult. The screws are slightly too big. They can be forced in, but it could take hours. After trying for almost two hours, Im going to go to a hardware store and find some that fit.
Some parts were kind of annoying to put together and it didnt seem sturdy, had to really put some elbow grease in at some points. Now that i made sure it could withstand my husband or I sitting on it without it rattling, it seems pretty sturdy ( i know this piece isnt meant to last a long time!). Just wanted to have a clean place to take shoes off and store them upon entering my home so we can enforce no shoes rule!
Great for my reading nook in my classroom cant wait to fill the bottom of it with books! It took about an hour and a half for me to put it together, it wasnt hard, just time consuming in my opinion. Hopefully my kids will love it (once we get back in the classroom!)
Very attractive and sturdy shoe bench! Unfortunately when I received the package, there was a hole in the box and later found out I was missing 3 screws. But I just made a trip to the hardware store and picked up the missing screws for only a couple bucks. Other than that, fairly easy to put together. Had to undo a couple pieces (really pay attention to the instructions and which side you are placing the pieces). All the parts are labeled with letters which is super helpful! Overall pretty happy with my purchase. Looks good in our entry area and holds almost all of our shoes (even ones we dont wear often).
I keep mine and my kids swimsuits, goggles, floaties, towels, and pool toys neatly tucked away. And they get a place to sit! My 4 year old slept on it all night long the first night we got it
I ordered the white version. It got here early and was already assembled. I really love it. Because of the price I expected it to be cheaply made, but even though its light, it seems very sturdy. Drawers arent the smoothest to open but really no complaints. So much better than I was even expecting. Full stars. Love it.
This is a very nice bench. Very pleased with the look. The only problem is that the instructions are wrong on page 6 of the instruction manual. The correct configuration is the bottom left photo. It is marked wrong but the correct picture it doesnt work. Alot of trial and error.

Reading Nook Bench
