The bench is great and my cats love the cubbies. Assembling was pretty easy overall but tricky at a few steps and wouldve been easier with a second pair of hands. Be careful when first opening the box, the edges of the cardboard look like they were designed to cut through aluminum foil.
Came with a huge crack in it and one of the screws wont go in, the hole is too big. But we bought it for our dog to sit on to look out the window and its perfect for that!
This would have been 5 stars if the included bolts werent HEX but Phillip style instead. I could of had this put together in about 10 min but the tool sent that went with the hex bolts was cheap and hard to get into the bolt and so close to the edges that you couldnt even get half of a turn each time you actually got the tool into its hole. It took me about 30 min to put it together. The quality of the wood and the appearance is 5 star.
Had a hard time putting it together so its not idiot proof but eventually got it installed. Cushion is an off-white color and isnt very comfortable but it does the job. Seems sturdy. Bins are smaller than an average storage organizer. True expresso color, not black like the picture.
We bought this bench for the entryway of our apartment and honestly it adds the perfect little touch of a warm homey feel. Putting it together was a bit of a pain, but afterwards it was pretty worth it.
The only complaints I have about this would be that if you arent super careful you can split the wood easily. We were a hair away from the slot for the screw and when we attempted to screw it in we heard the horrible crunch of the wood splitting. We got it back together with some wood glue but I would just recommend being super careful and just make sure that the screw is totally 100% in the slot.
The other issue is just minor but they provide some adhesive velcro so you can keep the cushion in place on the bench. Sadly our velcro never really stuck well so we just went out and got our own. Its a minor inconvenience but it still wouldve been nice if the stuff they provided would have actually worked.
Aside from that though it is pretty great and I would still recommended to anyone looking for a sort of cheap bench
This was exactly what u needed for storage. It doesnt take up a lot of space. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars Id because the first time I recieved one that was defective. The second one is beautiful!
