Pretty but weak. 225 POUND WEIGHT LIMIT?

Good product, lots of people seem to have had insane difficulty putting it together which I dont really understand. If you know how to use gravity and a floor then it shouldnt be hard at all. You honestly dont even need the foam inserts to keep the wooden pieces stable but Id I digress. Its not the difficulty of putting it together but rather the absurd 225 lb max weight limit that is ridiculous. The point of a daybed is that you should be able to use it as a comfortable place to gather when not being used for sleeping. Almost invariably multiple people will be on it at the same time. The wooden are in theory meant to be an integral part of the construction of the bed although it seems pretty stable without them. I am going to take some measurements this weekend and see if its possible for me to support the frame with a low profile bare bed frame. Hopefully I can make it work so I dont worry about it breaking apart during my jumping jacks routine.

    A worthwhile challenge

Glad I read the reviews, so I was prepared with clamps, painters tape, and a variety of other tools to get the job done. Putting the bed together was a challenge, but I did it successfully by myself in under 4 hours. Im glad I did not build it with my husbands assistance, as It would have surely irreparably damaged our marriagebetter I curse at myself than him LOL. Once built, the bed is BEAUTIFUL, and my parents (a combined 300ish pounds) reported it was quite comfortable and sturdy. I purchased a hybrid spring/memory foam mattress from to go with it, and no additional board was needed to support the mattress, the the bed comes with were sufficient. It is tall enough to have a roll away trundle underneath. Happy with my purchasebut would not ever want to set it up again

one and a half months and I already had to

one and a half months and I already had to break out the wood glue because even with the lightest amount of clothes the drawerfronts fall off .

    Pretty good for price

Pretty good for price. Need to use some kry glue on drawers but other than that it was good.

Precious bed even if its shorter than expected

This bed is TRULY adorable!! However, it is much shorter than I expected. I didnt completely study the measurements, but it is much shorter than a regular bed. You cant use a boxspring with it because it would cover up the whole headboard. My little girl was SO upset that it was low to the ground so we put it on bed risers and its fine like that!!! The instructions say not to but it seems completely stable so far. All in all a seriously precious bed and a great price!

That being said its not a bad bed. I have a very thick memory foam

This is definitely not a bed meant for little kids to jump on. The board the mattress lays on is not strong. And that board is not well supported. That being said its not a bad bed. I have a very thick memory foam mattress and I feel confident that it will hold up for a while.

    So Cute. Love

Bought two of these, one for each daughter, and they are super cute. I love the look and so do they. I love the fact that if we ever want to change the look of their room we can paint the frames easily. My daughters helped with the assembly the whole time. There were a few screws that were impossible to get in and luckily we were able to get help on those from a carpenter friend who was able to get them in. Assembly for these beds was about an hour for each. Weve had them for about 2 months and so far they are holding up well to fairly active use. My girls hardly ever just sit still and they are gymnasts so theyre constantly doing tricks wherever they are.

    Excellent bed!

I am exceptionally pleased with the quality and finish of this bed. It is well/made and solid. For the price I expected something a bit hollow sounding and rickety. Nothing could be further from the truth. I purchased two beds to transition toddlers to big kid beds. The rounded edges are great for small children. The bed is topped with an 8foam mattress and set to the lower setting, 6 inches from the floor. A child 33 inches tall can easily pull herself up onto the bed. The instruction manual was very clear. My husband and I took our time putting the first bed together. The second bed took us 20 minutes.
