Second loft bed I've purchased. First one was metal, not recommended. This one is extremely attractive, easy to assemble, and super sturdy. My grand daughter loves it, the desk asked her plenty of room for play and school work, especially important in these days of virtual learning
This bed is great for the price. It was very easy to assemble ! If your looking for a sturdy loft bed that is light weight And easy to assemble this is it!
Took about 3.5 hours for us to put it together (one savvy woman with an 11-year-old and a 9-year-old). Everything was really straightforward and labeled well. Very, very happy with how it turned out, especially for the price.

Easy to install, with two of us it took a little over an hour from unboxing to complete.
The wood is great quality and it sturdy.
We needed something with a desk that would fit a smaller bedroom (9x10) and it was a perfect fit. It definitely opened up the room for my daughter. The desk and underneath is functional and a great space for schoolwork. She has plenty of room on the desk for her computer and schoolwork/books.
I bought 2 loft beds. Both the 6 yr old and 10 yr old love them. They're sturdy enough for general use, you might get some cracks in the wood if you've got a heavier/rougher kid jumping off of or hanging from it. We put desks underneath and makes a 10x10 bedroom seem so much bigger. Very happy with them. Definitely need 2 people to put together.
Great loft bed! Only thing I would suggest is that you use washers and some lock tight on the threads. And do not over tighten the bolts cause you could loosen the inserts inside the wood. Any halfway decent handyman (or woman) already knows this. As for the poor reviews, I believe this was a lot of their issues, that and the bed is intended for children and only rated for around 200 lbs. If you feel it's still not stable enough for your active kiddos just brace it by adding an angle bracket to a wall.
Looks good and instructions are simple, pay close attention to the photos! Must be done by hand and I definitely needed my husband's help to screw in most of the bolts. Assembly does take two. My kids love it! I sure hope it lasts until my kid grows out of it.
While definitely a two (or three is available) person job, the assembly was not overly challenging. I highly recommend using a drill with adjustable torque as otherwise it would be VERY challenging to hand tighten all of the screws.
The bed is very sturdy and the finish was practically flawless. The desk, while small, is perfect for my daughter especially with distance learning.
We did significant searching and researching for the perfect loft bed and am very pleased with our selection. I highly recommend this!

Perfect loft bed for teenage girl
This is a beautiful loft bed. Purchased for a 13 year old girl who loves it! Perfect. The desk is bigger than I expected. Easy assembly too.
