I bought this for my 6 year old daughter and she LOVES it. It is such good quality too, I was actually surprised. It took my boyfriend about an hour and a half to build it by himself and he said it was pretty straightforward.
This bed is AMAZING for our 2 year old. She absolutely loves it! Super easy to put together and extremely sturdy. Tons of underneath storage. Would give it 10 stars if I could. The ONLY thing I was bummed about was That I wasnt aware it came in two separate packages on different days and I took my Daughters whole room apart between packages. Other than that love love love
I was able to put it mostly together with just the tools included. I only needed a drill for the slats, and honestly I could have done it without one. Just go slow, take your time, and build one piece at a time. My son loves his bed!
We diligently put the bed together for our 3 yo (she was beyond excited). Within the first day of our 3 yo using the bed, we heard a cracking sound.
We inspected the bed from every angle and found a large crack through a support rail on the undercarriage of the bed. This support rail split through a prescrewed hole in the wood that was completed by the manufacturer (not assembled by us). Also, for this item being considered a childs bed, we and our child found the edges of each piece of wood rather sharp and unsafe.
We do not feel that this item is safe for our children to sleep in or play under. We are currently awaiting an approval process to return/refund the broken/defective item with the seller.
Im 160 and the ladder doesnt work when I stand on it. It kicks away from the bed. Also I placed my newborn on the bed, then went to join him and as I reached the top of the ladder. I heeeard a creek in the wood and we both went thru. Lmao. Ive since then had to reenforce the bed. My 4 year old loves it now

This bed is for my 3 year old. It currently seems to be sturdy for him. I wish it was a touch taller under the bed for easier play but he loves it.
