    Beautiful bed frame, but...

I'll keep this short as possible. Pros: - Beautifully designed bed - Overall, seems sturdy - Below has plenty of space for storage, additional bed, play area for kids Cons: - Instructions are super confusing (pictures only, no words) - A few pieces were mislabeled (e.g. piece 13 was actually piece 14 in the instructions. Most of the pieces had number stickers) - A couple pieces were either cracked, chipped, or split in two I can't imagine something this large would come with possible cracks or chips, but it's always a roll of the dice (IMO).

    Sturdy, good value

I'm not going to lie, this was definitely a challenge to assemble. Took my husband and I five hours from beginning to end with the stairs and rails taking the most time. The directions are a little difficult to understand and none of the bags of hardware were marked. I wouldn't recommend trying to put it together by yourself. It seems to be very sturdy and has been put to the test already with my 5 year old granddaughter. We have a standard twin mattress and there is plenty of rail left to secure her from not falling out. Lots of room underneath for storage or play area. Definitely happy with the end result.

    Space saver for small rooms

This product looks great in the room. My daughter has a small room so it is a space saverI'm giving it a Four Star for ASSEMBLY!!! OH MY GOODNESS! Assembly is not for the faint at heart. I also may consider adding boards at the bottom for extra sturdiness. Other than that, it's awesome.

    Buy a thin mattress

Sturdy, easy to assemble. You need a thin mattress for this! The thicker mattresses sit too high to make the security railing effective.

    very sturdy

The wood is definitely solid and is very sturdy. I have climbed on with with both my Littles. It took me and my husband about 4 hours to put together with only one 15 min break. A couple of pieces were labeled incorrectly but we were able to figure it out. It was my 6 year old's bday present. She is in love. We got the clay colored because it was $150 less than the other 2 colors. It is beautiful color.

Perfect for a four year old

We got the low loft with the stairs and the slide for my sons fourth birthday. He absolutely loves it. Its really sturdy, Ive even taken a nap on it. (Whoops!) We bought a firm 6 inch foam mattress and it works great. Doesnt sink through at all. My four year old and two year old cant get enough of it, Ive had to put a baby gate up when we eat meals so they wont be tempted to run into my sons room to use the slide. The slide is a tiny bit steep, but It took both of my kids approximately three or four times of going down the slide before learning how to not slam down on their butt. (Less than five minutes) All in all its a great bed and I would buy it again.

    Would recommend.

This is my 5 year old son's first big boy bed. (He was in a toddler bed.) My dad and I put it together, and it went pretty smoothly. My son can be a little rough, but the bed feels really sturdy. I don't care for the low clearance underneath, however, I purchased risers at the time that I purchased the bed, and that definitely helps. Would recommend.

Long assembly time and kind of fast and dangerous

My kid LOVES it! It took a few hours to put together with some help with a friend. Once up, it was exactly what we expected. The slide is super fast so if you have hard wood floors, like we do, you will need to add some padding for the landing.
