This loft bed is wonderful and will be used for MANY years to come - clean materials, weight allowance/sturdy enough for a multiple kids or parent to climb on top (which I have to do in order to change the sheets), and easy to assemble in a couple hours. We created a reading nook/play space underneath that my 2yr old loves. I also loved the option to pay a little extra for delivery into my front entryway - which gave me confidence that the packaging would arrive undamaged.
Tips per other reviews - 1) I added Ikea bed slats to give extra mattress support, 2) the slide is very steep/fast so we added a pack n play memory foam topper (a pillow will also work) under the slide as a landing pad, 3) a long bumper pad was perfect to block to ladder and slide openings to ensure safetly while sleeping (we also used fluffy pillows in the beginning).
Update: I contacted the customer service department at and they are replacing the part that broke for me
I cannot recommend this bed. I went by others reviews and I'm always sceptical of those 1 star reviews and judge myself but not were they right. The pine is just not right for a loft bed.. One of the supports that the bed slats sit on, cracked when my 40 lb child got on the bed.
I put this together by myself in 2.5 hours. Definitely would have been easier with help, but it's doable. Boards were labeled well. Bolts not so much. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what ya have tho. Instructions were pretty clear. Other reviews said it was wobbly but ours turned out perfectly sturdy and seems like good quality. My daughter loves it. Only thing I don't like is the drop from the mattress to the slide. Going to try to find her a thinner mattress.
This bed is amazing! The directions are only pictures which is sort of annoying but honestly no big deal. Very heavy duty and my daughter is thrilled!!!

No very sturdy, nervous of weight capacity. The material is very light and not solid. This would be my only complaint. Assembly is super simple and almost fun/exciting. Kids love it!
We got this for our 4 year old and he loves it. We put the ladder on the side so that we could get a full size mattress underneath. Its the perfect place to snuggle in and read a book.
