Update 2/9/2019: changing from 1 star to 4. Support was responsive to my request and part was shipped which took a few days. Maybe I was the 1 in 1000 that received a defective part. Decent product for the price and it will work well in my home office. Product was the best I could find at a decent price that fit my needs. I would order again.
Take your time with assembly. Instructions are good. Parts well marked. Some pre/drilled holes may look blocked. Just use the tip of the screw driver provided and carefully stretch the opening. Worked for me.
I needed a desk I could use in the office for my laptop. I move around the floor and wanted something I could stand or sit. It arrived today, put it together in about 45 minutes and it was very easy and good quality.
Surprised at the precision fit of all components, a pleasure to have bought 2 of these for our office and found all parts there and an accurate fit. Sturdy, we use them in a Dental office for safe storage of digital scanner and laptop. A stable design, not tipsy. Excellent mobile for expensive electronics.
I love it. I prefer leaving it at the standing height. Perfect fit for my 17/inch laptop and mouse. Took me just under 2 hours to assemble. Very well packed to reduce damage.
Ok, here is the scoop. This unit is package well for shipment and directions are good. Parts are numbered to match directions. If you own tools and are handy and experienced, assembly is easy. If you own no tools yourself, then ask a friend to come over and help you assemble it. My only dis/satisfaction is that the casters are hard plastic and even when the two of four are locked the unit can slide on a hardwood floor. On carpet this should not be an issue. I can think of a few ways to work around this. I will be buying two more after seeing the good quality of the first unit. One suggestion it not to over tighten any of the screws or cams. It comes with a small screw driver and this helps keep torque low, but if you use a larger screw driver be gentle but firm. Too tight is not recommended.
Excellent product, Well put together and easy to setup. I bought it for my business as I am working on inventory and was having issues with settings my laptop. This solved my problem.
I bought this product to use a standing desk at home, after being used to an UpDesk model at the office. My biggest concerns before assembling and using the desk were that it would be unstable when fully extended. So far with my Thinkpad on the desk while extended to full height, its rock solid. No flexing, no creaking, and very easy to adjust. Happy customer!
Instead of paying of 270 for a desk to use while riding my bike trainer from a cycling company I bought this and saved a bundle. Easy to put together and durable. I attached a power strip to the back to centralize cords
