Sturdy versatile bed which makes great use of space

Bought this for my young teen who needed a desk and more storage in her small room. This bed fit the bill. The product seems very solid and sturdy. You definitely need more than one pair of hands to get the bed frame together. The book case and chest of drawers can be assembled independently. So far so good and definitely seems more sturdy than other furniture we have purchased to assemble in the past. Looking forward to years of good use of this item. I really love that it only takes up the footprint of a bed, but you have all the extra book case and chest of drawers storage, plus still room behind those items under the bed for boxes or whatever else you need to stash. My sons like using the area as a play fort hideout. Very happy with this purchase so far.

    TRIPLE CHECK YOUR RAILING ORDER!

I like this and it was a good buy when I got it, but when putting it together I made three mistakes, and had to take sections apart three times, as the instructions were not clear and did not remind me well of the specifics, mainly around which railing needed to be where for the top rail guard, and in what orientation. It DID remind me about how the safety warning label was supposed to be oriented, but not about the guard rail placement/direction/orientation. Still, the kids love it, and it seems sturdy.

    Long review

This is a lengthy review so please bare with me. This one is wood, and seems sturdier than a one would be. There are wooden slates that are connected by a strap thing. After all the slates are pulled into place they are then screwed down on the ends of the slats, there is also a rod that runs from one end to the other for extra support. The bed is sturdy for a bed being sold online. Of course the bed will move around and creak if you shake it hard enough thats with anything. Is it to the point Im concerned that it will fall apart? No not at all. Now the bed does state will hold 400 lbs maybe, but a teeny tiny ladder will NOT! Common sense tells anyone that. Will the ladder hold kids absolutely, will it hold a 200+ personnah wouldnt trust that. If you want build a beefy ladder and you should be fine. Theres plenty of room underneath the bed, the desk is a good size and the shelves hold quite a bit. There was a bump or two on the bed but thats from the shipping, not the manufacturer. They were not noticeable, and to me not a deal breaker. I would recommend this to anyone with kids whos rooms are a bit small.

    Its a decent bed

Bought for my son. Wanted one with no desk but I already had a mattress and finding one for a fill was soooooo hard. Either way this looks cute and he loves it. My ceilings are low so its a bit like hes in a camper but thats not the beds fault. Its only temporary we are at this house so it will be fine. He loves it is the important thing. I had a hell of a time building it thats for sure. Took me 5 hrs to build alone. I dont like white but its fine. Love it. Will keep it for a while for sure. It is quite wobbly but you can expect that from these types of beds.
