We wanted to add a little extra cabinet space to our small kitchen. Saw this online and decided it would look nice. My husband and I are pretty good assembling furniture, so we figured this would be pretty easy. NO WAY! It took us FOUR hours to assemble this item and it is not even that BIG! Most of our time was spent looking for the correct number on the individual pieces and spending time analyzing if it was in fact the right one. Each piece comes numbered. However, on ours, two pieces were not numbered and two were mislabeled. Doesnt sound like much but it is enough to really throw you off during assembly.
With furniture, they always show all the holes and the rough edges. We found that the instructions for this piece left you wondering. It looks like the right piece, but it doesnt show these two holes.
By the end of the end of the night we were so annoyed with this furniture. The last step was putting on the bottom cabinet door. Once you pop them in, it is literally impossible to pop out. Unfortunately my husband put the first door on upside down and the magnet does not match up. SO make sure you double check before you pop it in.
I have reached out to the company in hope to get the replacement parts we need to make the handles sturdier....we shall see. But READ REVIEWS BEFORE BUYING OR ASSEMBLING!
The instructions were clear, and all of the tools were accounted for but the lack of quality control in labeling the pieces is beyond crazy. A lot of the pieces were not labelled correctly. Piece 26 was actually piece 25, and piece 25 was actually 26. I had 6 pieces like this so this took me waaaayyy longer to build than I expected. You have to use a lot of common sense with this.
If you do buy this you have to take your time and CAREFULLY look at the pieces before you put them together. In my set, the top doors were labelled incorrectly. I noticed this as I was halfway drilling holes for the glass holder tabs because you guessed it, the doors DO NOT have pre-drilled holes for it. Now I have a door with 4 tiny little holes! While it is heavy it looks quite cheap when you get really close. The laminate that covers the wood feels very weak and it looks like it !!!!!! cannot touch water. AT ALL. This WILL bubble up if you leave wet stuff on it. Also, have a broom next to you as soon as this arrives. The Styrofoam padding they use is so CHEAP, as soon as you touch it crumbles and it leaves a MESS, EVERYWHERE. So imagine, about 90 mins assembling and another 30 cleaning up little pieces of static stuck Styrofoam pieces.
In all honesty this product is not worth its $170 price tag, $90 would be the most it should be worth. Only reason I bumped it to three stars was because of no missing pieces and it does not wobble when built.
I ordered this and then read the reviews, so I was a little apprehensive about the actual build and quality, but it wasnt nearly as bad as the reviews said! I got it a week earlier than originally projected, which was a pleasant surprise. It definitely takes two people to put together, and the only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because the directions werent super clear (put piece 5 into piece 6, but not which way piece 6 should face, etc) and this meant there were a couple of pieces we put on backwards that we had to take off and put back on, but 90% of it was easy! It also looks great in my dining area and freed up a few kitchen cupboards, so Im thrilled!
Not easy to assemble. There is nothing to fix the glass. I have to buy a two side tape to fix it.
The finishing is not good. Edges of some components are damaged.
Not worth of the amount paid
This unit arrived yesterday. It appeared to be well packed and the pieces and all the hardware were labeled and included. One of the larger uprights was damaged - the laminate was gouged from the front which would be very visable. I attempted to call the help line listed in the paperwork multiple times over many hours during their listed office hours. I heard the recording, was given options to select, and then was disconnected. I tried selecting every option just to get through to someone, but everything ended in disconnection. The instructions ask that customers not return the item but contact the company for replacement parts. Tried that again....and again....and again....

I purchased this to use as a bar. Not as sturdy as Id like and looks a little cheap but it does the job.
