I was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews where people had quality issues or complained of difficult assembly. It does initially appear to be a large task when you lay all the parts out, but it goes together relatively easily, ensuring the four corner posts are oriented properly is about the most difficult part. I was able to assemble this by myself but it was a but difficult to get the side rails on without help, two people for that part will be necessary for the average person. I bought this for a child but tested it first, I weigh 240 pounds and felt comfortable and didn't have any concerns when I laid on it to test the sturdiness.
This was the perfect height for my child. Was able to put book shelves below amd create a reading nook/ lounge area underneath. I like how sturdy it is when put together. Would recommend.
I really can't say, since I ordered the twin in espresso and received the full in white. What I received is very sturdy considering I am a mostly grown man. I am using an 8 full size memory foam mattress, and I get adequate sleep. It was very heavy and hard to move while boxed, and I will have to disassemble it if I need to move it. Assembly required a hammer and an electric drill, not provided.
Its sturdy if you build it right. The wood is soft so it will get bruised very easily. I was in a time and money, and space crunch so this was def a Good investment. I live in nyc and Im a teaching artist so you know things can get very inconsistent.
Great for my 3yo. She learnt to climb up and down in an hour. Hoping the higher perch will discourage her from running out of bed 20 times a night, plus Im hopeful to use the underbed space as a little clubhouse. My daughter has bumped her head a couple of times coming out from the under bed space. As for the ladder, Ive seen some reviews from adults using this bed and that surprises me as the ladder is narrow and really designed for little bodies. The assembly was 2 hours with two people including unboxing for us. Theres a lot of screws as each bed slat needs to be screwed into the frame. On the last slat when we tried screwing it down the frame wood cracked off, thats my only real negative.
I did feel when I was searching that this bed advertised a higher weight capacity and underbed height than most similar beds, that being said it was a little more expensive than similar beds too.
This bed was somewhat difficult to assemble like many products. Definitely would help to have a second person available when attaching the end pieces to the side rails. A big tip would be to use power tools to save some time. The slats for the mattress did not fit right and it was difficult to screw them into the wood. I missed a couple times and even got to close to the edge breaking a small chunk of wood off. I thought it was going to be a little taller from the floor to the bottom of the bed and I wasn't able to put my 13 year old son's low profile futon underneath as I had intended to do for a place to sit and play video games with friends. Overall I like it!!!

Son loves it!
Very easy to assemble. No knicks or scratches, everything was well packaged. Very happy with it.
Seems to be good quality after initial assembly

perfect wish we had purchased this sooner
a great buy for our 6 year old granddaughter
Medicare quality
Mediocre quality. Weve been using it for just under 2 months and theres already paint shops and divots in the wood from climbing up and down.
Happy so far, sturdy, fun for a 3yo
